A lot had happened with Izuku in a very short amount of time. Denki winced when the other boy had bumped his head, wanting to reach out. Then Izuku was bowing and Kacchan was probably going to be really, really annoyed in the morning. It was hard to know what to do, especially with the heavy feeling of sleepiness still slowing him down.
Katsuki was still beside him though, a steady hand on his shoulder. Denki had to admit that going back to sleep was a pretty appealing suggestion… if curiosity didn't get the best of him.
“What’d’ya mean?” He asked Izuku, blinking. “Go back to the dorms? No way! No harm, right?” He looked to Katsuki, trying to make sense of how likely it was for other boy to take off or smash a pillow at Izuku’s head. Maybe they were okay for now. The only question left unanswered now was why the two of them were on the couch together, but explaining that could make their situation a little weirder.
It wasn’t that crazy, was it? Sure he and Katsuki had gotten close when the other tended to shrug off any concern or affection. And he was kind of a porcupine sometimes when it came to connecting with other people. But they were just -- it was just--
Man, couldn’t he figure this stuff out when it wasn’t so late!?
“Don’tcha need your blanket?”
He lifted up the edge of the comforter that Izuku had brought them. It was soft and cozy -- something Denki wouldn’t mind snuggling until Izuku could decide what to do with it.
