If anything was about to break the habit of sleeping out here in the living room, it was this. Squinting at Deku in the dark, tripping over something or other like the klutz that he was. "Jesus fuck, Deku..." He let out a long puff of a sigh, rubbing at his face. It was too early for this or at least he figured it was closer to early than late, he didn't really know. His phone was somewhere between pillows on the couch and he wasn't thinking of looking at it until Denki sleepily asked the time. He almost didn't even want to look on the chance it would only stoke his anger. Did it improve anyone's mood to miss out on the last of their sleep before their alarm went off?
"It's just Deku, go back to sleep," he said dismissively in place of actually answering that question, reaching back to press a hand against Denki's shoulder, probably more gently than you would have expected considering he was ticked off. "What the... fuck Deku, would you stop?" He was not awake enough for this and he didn't want to be either.
Since they were kids Deku had been... well, Deku. How they stayed friends, he wasn't always sure. He'd been listening to him babble on like this for years, usually tolerating it with a look devoid of any amusement and giving him a hard time for it by the end, if not mid-rant. Now those rants included mixed English and Japanese that sounded like way more of a mess when he was unwillingly awake and part of his brain was contemplating murder.
"Are you two... sorry!"
It would take Deku's frantic muttering to make him consider more... just what this looked like. He honestly didn't think much of it, or as much as he should have. Obviously he didn't go around sleeping with all of his friends like this, but... he was trying to be supportive for Denki or whatever. And it was nice, he'd gotten used to it and he didn't need Deku judging him for it. Denki didn't think it was some big deal...
"Just... shut up, Deku..." He would take it to wild extremes like having to go to a whole other dorm for whatever the fuck reason he put into his head that no one else could understand. "We're not... it's nothing! Chill the hell out, would ya?" He definitely did not wanna deal with this. In the morning or possibly ever.
