Klaus went over to the door of this office and closed it. He didn't want them to be interrupted. "And I still believe that you are not giving yourself enough credit, Elena."
Even though Elena might have worn clothes she didn't mind getting paint on, Klaus still offered her an apron. Klaus wouldn't wear one himself but he was much more skilled at keeping paint where it belonged. He knew that beginners were not as coordinated.
He led her over to the canvas and the vast array of paints set out in front of her. "I thought that we would start with something simple." He pointed to a picture of a vase with a bouquet of daisies in it. Flowers are an easy object. They don't need to be perfectly painted to be perfect. Even flowers with an imperfection are still beautiful."
