Klaus knew that Elena had a busy schedule and he was grateful that she had agreed to spend some of her day off with him. He was planning on showing Elena that she could, in fact, make art and perhaps when they were done and not yet ready to part ways, he'd take her out to a restaurant for lunch.
Klaus set up shop in his office. It was far enough away from displayed art to prevent any unfortunate accidents. His office was well lit with both artificial and natural light. He had set two canvasses up on easels and various paints and paint brushes up. All that was missing was the artist.
When he heard the knock on the door and Elena's voice, he turned with a grin. "I still look forward to saying "I told you so" when I prove to you that I was correct to set my hopes high and that you shouldn't underestimate yourself."
