Raven couldn't blame the woman either. She'd been healed and it had been a lot and getting away from it all and to safety? It made perfect sense. At least to her. At the thanks, the dark haired woman just shrugged - similar to how she had been when she first saved Kory.
"Some people are just wired that way, wanting to help."
It was something she thought about a lot. Destiny. Her Dreams had certainly made it a theme. And it wasn't like Raven could sit back and do nothing. Even before powers.... so the idea that Kory would have that same pull? How could she not expect it. She'd read books on it - if you know your destiny, is it set or do you choose the actions to it or could you maybe change it. But at least when it came to helping people? Well, for that Raven wouldn't complain too much. She had thwarted the Trigon prophecy in a way at any rate.
"Yeah. I moved back about a month ago? Job offer." That was the easiest explanation at any rate. "Well, Orange County is definitely good for a fresh start."
And chaos. And trauma. And things that made no sense yet somehow made all the sense in the world. Well depending. She'd been in Orange County her whole life and it wasn't until she joined the network that she learned about the insanity. Strange the way worked out but people saw what they wanted to see. If it was too confusing, they would find a simpler explanation.
