Ever since Roman had gotten out of the hospital things had slowly been going back to normal for Margo. She was rotating spending the night at Roman’s and spending the night at home, the majority of her clients were just as obnoxious as usual and, including Quentin, she had made a few new friends, which was nice. And aside from one dream where they had finally defeated the Beast, albeit losing Alice in the process, nothing crazy had happened since Roman’s last dream.
For the last few weeks, Margo had been helping Roman look for a new place, one that she might potentially move into full time some time in the near future. She still hadn’t told Eliot that Roman had asked her to move in and until it looked more like that was going to happen, she was going to keep it to herself for now. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to move in with Roman, but she had never lived with a boyfriend before and in a way it scared her.
She had spent the previous night at Roman’s and was now spending at least the next two nights at home at her and Felix’s apartment. Reaching the apartment, she let herself in and set her purse down in the living room before walking further into the apartment, “El? Felix?”

Eliot had spent most of his day trying not to think about the dream he’d had that morning. Bottling up his emotions so he could master battle magic, a process that had come so easy to him there that it frightened him to think about, and then having a threesome with Margo and Quentin after drinking their emotions. It had gotten him drunk faster than anything he’d ever had in this life and as much as he wanted to claim that was the only reason drunk him had done it, had slept with Quentin even knowing that the other man was with Alice, he couldn’t. He’d wanted to sleep with Quentin there from the moment they’d met practically.
He heard the door open and then Margo calling his name and he called back from where he was sprawled across his and Felix’s bed. “In here Bambi.”
***
Margo moved through the apartment until she was in Eliot and Felix’s room then without hesitating she collapsed into the bed beside Eliot, “Would it be unethical to use magic on some of my clients?” On more than one occasion Margo had thought about how nice it would be to be able to hex some of her more difficult clients, but most of their spells weren’t exactly discreet to cast.
***
“Why are you asking me about ethics?” Eliot asked turning his head to brush a kiss over her hair. “Rough day I take it?” he added with a small smile as he wrapped an arm around her.
***
Margo laughed as she kicked her shoes off so that she count get a little more comfortable on Eliot and Felix’s bed, “That’s true. Do you even know what the word ethics means?” One of the things that made Margo and Eliot so compatible as best friends was that they basically had the same feelings about almost everything and that included when it was okay to basically be horrible to other people, “So, what’ve you been up to today?”
***
“Something boring?” Eliot teased her as she made herself comfortable. “Trying to figure out what to do with this,” he told her, pulling a small bottle out from under his pillow. “Woke up to find that between me and Felix on the bed. But at least there was no Alice on the foot giving a hurt puppydog face at Quentin in the bed?” He said, trying to find a bit of levity in the memory of that look.
***
As Eliot pulled the emotions bottle out from under his pillow, Margo moved to take it. She knew what the bottle meant and what Eliot was likely to tell her next. She’d be lying if she said that she hadn’t been waiting for Eliot to have this dream for ages. “I get why she was mad, but seriously, it was just sex.” Margo smirked as she sat up and crossed her legs underneath herself.
“Did I hear someone talking about sex?” Felix had walked in at what appeared to be a very interesting moment. He recognized the bottle that was now in Margo’s hand as, not only the one that had been in bed with him and Eliot that morning, but that Margo had also received from the dreams sometime ago.
***
Eliot let Margo take the bottle from him, happy to have it out of his control and turned over to her. She’d keep it safe for, and from, him. He smiled at her comment about it being just sex. “For one of us at least it was. And it never would have happened if we’d been sober and Q’s girlfriend hadn’t fucked off with Penny.” He said sitting up as Felix walked in and making room for his boyfriend to join them on the bed. Gerald yawned as he got moved over on the bed between his humans - all three of them.
“DreamSex. Not as interesting as some of the sex conversations we’ve had in this apartment. Oh wait - I think I have to take that back. There was that one when Margo was out of town that you and I had darling.” He gave Felix a small smile as he reached out to pull him close and give him a kiss.
***
Margo smiles up at Felix and moved to make room for him as well. “Dream sex where me and El had a threesome with Quentin.” She had waited so long for Eliot to get to this point in the dreams that she wasn’t going to not talk about it now.
Felix had just settled in between Eliot and Margo and his brows rose as she explained exactly what they had been talking about, “Wait, Quentin, the guy who recently joined the Network?” Felix had heard the name Quentin often when Eliot and Margo talked about their dreams and recently they had spoken about how him and another girl from their dreams had just joined the Network, “What was that like?” Felix would be lying if he said he wasn’t incredibly interested. Other guys would have gotten jealous of their boyfriends having sex dreams, about other people, but Felix wasn’t like other guys.
***
“Quentin the guy who recently joined the Network.” Eliot confirmed as he gently pet Gerald to get the puppy to settle back down. “We were all pretty drunk on our emotions but it was...I have no regrets about it. Well except for his girlfriend being there the next morning when we all woke up. She was just sitting there on the foot of the bed looking at us.” He paused for a moment. “I’d be lying if I said a part of me didn’t wish that I’d gotten to sleep with him by myself first in the dreams since I did see him first.” He teased, looking over at Margo.
***
“Hey, don’t blame me. You were already passed out when we started.” Margo knew that she would never go after someone else’s boyfriend, under normal circumstances, but considering how the emotions had affected them once they had them back, she didn’t blame herself for kissing Quentin.
Felix laughed and shook his head, “This is hilarious.” He glanced over at Margo, “Wait, you’re ahead of him in your dreams, right? How long have you been holding onto this?” He didn’t understand why some people dreamt faster than others, especially when they shared dreams, but he knew Margo had had more than Eliot.
Margo thought for a moment or two, “Since sometime last year.” She looked over at Eliot, “You have no idea how difficult it has been not to bring it up.” Now she just needed to wait until Quentin dreamt it and then everyone who participated would know.
***
“You’ve known for a year that this was going to happen and you didn’t tell me? That gives me permission to blame you. I told you I’d seen him first after all.” Eliot said, only able to hold onto his pretend outrage for a moment as he looked over at Margo, reaching for Felix’s hand as he laid back against the pillow.
“So how long until Alice quits being a complete stick in the mud about everything?” He asked curiously.
***
“I figured it would be better if you dreamt it yourself.” Margo was just glad that they all knew now, “I just didn’t expect it to take this fucking long for you to dream it.” Honestly, nothing about the dreams, including how quickly or how slowly any one person dreamt, made any sense. “But now you know and we only have to wait for Q to dream it.” She was really looking forward to his reaction to that. “Oh, she definitely holds it against us all for awhile.”
Felix smirked and squeezed Eliot’s hand as they laced their fingers together, “So exactly how much of this threesome does dream Eliot end up remembering.” He glanced over at Margo, who seemed to remember the most details of it, “Was there anything between the two of your or was it mostly each of you and Quentin?”
***
“Well in my defense the books did keep me from sleeping a few nights.” Eliot said with a small laugh. “That might have slowed down my getting there.” He sighed at her comment about having to wait for Q. “And we probably shouldn’t give him any hints right? About that particular dream?” He wasn’t sure he’d actually know what to say to clue him in. Without coming out and saying point blank that they had a threesome and that probably wouldn’t go over very well when they were just getting to know each other.
“Mostly….I think kissing Quentin and then the wake up in the morning. Bambi? Fill in the blanks for us?”
***
Margo remembered a lot more of their threesome than Eliot did, considering she hadn’t been practically blackout drunk and high off their returned emotions, “Well, it was mostly each of us and Q, but that doesn’t mean nothing happened between El and I.” She smirked and pushed herself up on her elbows so she could see both Eliot and Felix.
“Your dreams are fucking insane.” Felix laughed as he shook his head a little, imagining various scenarios between Eliot, Margo and Quentin.
***
Eliot grinned at her when he saw that smirk on her face. “When has that ever been a possibility Bambi. There at least. I mean I did want Mike for both of us if you remember.” No matter where they found themselves their friendship was never going to be what other people considered normal but it worked for them. “But mostly each of us with Q does match up with what I remember.” Quentin’s hair over his skin was a vague memory in his mind following that dream.
“Never boring with us in your life Felix.” He said, kissing his boyfriend’s cheek lightly.
