Who: Mitch and Stan When: Backdated to last week Where: Stans apartment What: Drinking Status: On going Ratings: None
It had been a while since Stan and Mitch had a drink. So, after showering and relaxing he had invited the kid to his place to relax and share a drink with him. He had made sure that the laptop was hidden in his room, not that he expected Mitch to go into his room or anything like that.
Still, it was a precaution he took. He had a case of beet in the fridge, with on bottle in his hand already while he awaited for Mitch to arrive. Already taking his own sip.
It wasn't that Stan was an alcoholic, it was just that he developed a high tolerance for the substance.
--
Mitch had no reason to turn down the invite. It wasn’t like he was doing anything at that moment in time. He only glanced at the network once today and Lydia wasn’t home, so yeah, he’d rather go grab a drink at Stan’s than just stay home and do absolutely nothing.
He had left his apartment and made his way to Hurley’s. Once there, he knocked on the door and then waited for it to be answered.
* "It's open." Stan already knew it was Mitch, since he invited the kid over for drinks moments before. Not to mention that not many people came to his apartment. Not that it was messy, but Stan was just a private person. And he didn't like people all that much.
Once Mitch walked in, Stan was already on his feet and moving to hand the kid a beer. Followed by a pat to his back. "Nice to see you shaved." He said teasing since he at one point looked like a wolf man.
--
The moment he heard Hurley say that it was open, Mitch walked right on into the apartment. “Yeah, well, I’ve been going out in public. I figured I’d better shave or I might scare people,” he joked as he took the beer from Hurley.
* "I dunno kid you might fit in more." He said teasing him as he leaned back and came to sip at his beer. Once Mitch had settled in he came to watch him a second. "Well least you're working again, so that's good. Gets you out of the apartment. " He nodded slightly.--
*
“Oh yeah? With who?” he asked, eyebrow raised. He walked further into the apartment and took a seat on the couch. “Yeah, thank god for that. I was getting pretty sick of being stuck in bed or on the couch. That shit got old.” Mitch took a swig of his drink and then set the bottle down on the coffee table. “What have you been up to?”
* "The freaks who dream about wolves? Fuck if I know." When asked what he had been up too he shrugged his shoulders slightly. "Work and dreams." He replied.
"Though I haven't dreamt in a few weeks and nothing has shown up either, thankfully" the now empty bottle tossed as he grabbed another.
--
“Are you talking about Lydia’s friends?” he asked. They were the only ones that he knew that dreamed about wolves. “You’ve been busy,” he sarcastically said. “You should slow down a bit there. Don’t need you to hurt yourself.” He glanced away for a moment before looking over at Stan again. “I’ve gotten some stuff.”
* "Her and her friends ain't the only ones who dreams of wolves." He stated as he popped off the cap of the beer and took a seat once more before sipping.
When Mitch mentioned getting some stuff, he arched a brow at him. "The stuff you told me, or new stuff?" He asked curiously as he came to place the bottle on the table and lean onto his elbows.
-
“Others have mentioned it?” If they had, Mitch hadn’t noticed. He hadn’t been paying that much attention to the network for a while. He grabbed his beer and took another swig from it.
“I got a few more things this past month,” he started. “I don’t know why they were given to me. I don’t need anymore reminders of the last dream.” He’d like to forget them to be honest.
*
"What did you get?" He asked as he rested his elbows on his knees and kept his focus on Mitch for a second. The dreams seemed to be worse for Mitch. Though from what he's been told he can get a better grasp as to why Mitch in his dreams is the way he is.
