If Anakin was going to trust Padme, then she had to find some way to seeing things how he did.
"This isn't simple to explain, but I need you to hear all of it without telling me that none of the stuff in our Dreams matter. Because it does. It really does."
He didn't get the privilege of treating his Dreams like distant memories of another life because of how the Force worked.
"The Force has a light side and a dark side to it," he started. "From what I can tell from my Dreams and from what Ahsoka's told me, deciding to focus on just one at the extreme expense of the other is dangerous. If you choose to be completely light side, you become apathetic and somewhat psychotically indifferent to people's suffering. Which is still better than choosing to be completely dark side- you do that and then you're a psychotic murderer. And someone with that much power has the ability to consciously hurt a lot of people.
"And delving that much into one side or the other, it changes who you are. In a physical way. It changes the way you perceive things. Innocent things look evil, evil looks innocent. You can't reason with someone on either extreme.
"So because that's part of what I Dream I could wake up one morning, through no choice of my own, and be changed into that person. I can choose right now who I am. But I can't choose if my Dreams choose for me.
"I need you to understand that that is a real possibility for me."
Okay, that part was explained. He hoped he'd made sense.
