At least Caleb wasn't the only one getting slightly embarrassed during this meet-cute. He could tell by that reaction that the veteran aspect of his life would be left for another future conversation. For now Caleb realized that he really knew nothing else about the man sitting across from him and now was the perfect time to find out a bit more.

"You should definitely take it as a win. So, besides your apparent penchant for running to people at a coffee shop that don't elicit a meet-cute, what else do you do? I'm hoping I'm not keeping you from something important," Caleb questioned before reaching up to wipe away a drop of coffee he could feel on his upper lip.
