Damon had done a lot of things as a vampire - a lot. They were not open for discussion. He tried to live close to a human acceptable standard, but he was a feeding vampire, and sometimes he needed those skills. In time he might be able to discuss it with Alex, but that required the utmost trust, and he was not sure that Alex wouldn't suddenly decide to jump back to the safety of someone else. The enigma would remain, but he could probe as he liked.
Damon considered the answer for a minute. "No. I used to when I transitioned, but it comes with so many good bits. One of these weird OC things turned me into a human, and suddenly it was like someone cut Samson's hair. I had no fucking clue what to do. I die as a human in dreams though, so all this could go away. Then I'll be normal." He didn't want to be normal again. He was used to this life now, even if he required blood to live. Without blood, he would weaken like a body with no water. He could go mad and even kill, or if left alone, he would fall into a vampire like coma until he had blood in his system again.
"How about you? Any more dreams? Did they go while you were gone?"
