That response was the first real clue to Jaz that Cisco was starting to get back on his feet and get back into the swing of life and she liked it. "Totally with you," she said with a laugh, "any hour with a shrink feels like ten, even if you're not the one being analysed," Jaz agreed. It sounded as though the guy had a good attitude to his own mental health and probably his physical health too, if he hadn't been down to Smashy-Dude and his coffee-aggression. "Honestly, I probably would have talked it over with my friend and if he thought it was even more nuts than usual, then yeah."
Jaz gave him a tentative shrug, "not so much. I mean, this city is weird beyond measure at the best of times," she told him. She didn't understand why Cisco was worried about taking here, but Jaz respected his privacy, even if her sense was to shake the information from him and get some answers. "Today, right? You're not going to make me wait?" she asked, genuine concern on her face. She was terrible at delayed gratification and wasn't going to start learning it at this age!
"Outside is good," Jaz agreed, grabbing her goodies and giving Cisco a protective detail to the outdoor tables. She wasn't about to let him get hurt again now she was so close to finding out about the visions! "Okay, spill," she said as she picked a nice private spot away from the entrance that would give them time to talk. "I wanna hear all the gory details," Jaz said with a grin as she started to sip her coffee.
