The significance of her statement about willingness did not go unnoticed. Loki's eyes met hers for a moment, before focusing on the jagged, pinkish lines in her skin. He moved his hand, almost as if he was about to touch them, but then thought better of it.
It was both better and worse than what he had imagined. Better, because they were not so bloody and fresh, worse because they were real.
