"I'm gonna be in a whole world of trouble if I start worrying that everything I do or say is gonna affect John," Scott said with a shrug. He wasn't about to screw up the way he and his Mom related to one another just because she'd settled down with the dude. "Either he believes me or he doesn't and that's his problem, not mine," and Scott could only hope that it didn't become his Mom's problem. Thank goodness he had Stiles by his side for all of this madness. "See, I knew it. Better not stop teasing then, huh?" Scott said with a grin of affection his way. "That look," he said pointing to his face, "the one that tells me I better shut up or we're gonna be pulling over," he answered with a laugh.
Scott watched as the pieces fitted together in Stiles' mind and grinned, "now you're getting the picture, huh?" Of course Stiles took it to a whole other level and Scott cringed at the concept of that breakfast. That would suck and if he managed more than a coffee and a 'bye' it'd be a miracle! "How about we make sure it doesn't happen," he told Stiles, "cause the embarrassment isn't worth the laughs you'd get out of it," he said giving his stomach a soft poke. "That should be to that 'I'm Nothing for Christmas' tune," Scott couldn't help but chip in, even if he knew Stiles would run and run with it and if his Mom heard... ouch. "Me neither, but do you wanna hear them either?" Scott asked with a laugh. "You'd never get hard again."
