He couldn't argue with the rationale though he pointed out, "Mom would believe me. She knows I wouldn't make up something so out there," Scott told his boyfriend with a shrug. How John reacted to it was a whole other matter. "If they think I'm nuts it's better than trying to hide, isn't it?" Besides, honesty was a thing and he didn't like keeping stuff from his Mom. He grinned and met Stiles' eyes, "if I stopped teasing you, you'd think I got replaced by a pod-person. And I like it when you get that look in your eyes," every bit as much as Stiles seemed to like the wolf-eyes.
"Something tells me she wouldn't be quite as chilled as your Dad," Scott replied with a laugh. For all his bluster Noah seemed to let them get away with pretty much anything, which was weird but also pretty cool of him. "God, I hope not," Scott said with a shudder, "there are some images I can do without over Christmas. Like Mom getting humped by Santa," he told Stiles with a laugh. "We'll stick close to them too, that'll stop them in their tracks," he said with a sage nod.
