He had to smile at that, "I'd say you've done a pretty good job of it," Scott said, "only hope we're going for mutual branding here or I'm gonna feel like a total idiot about this time tomorrow," when the hangover kicked in and his brain started reminding him of all the stupid, dumb stuff he'd said and done.
"I think...maybe," Scott said with an embarrassed frown, "I guess you just bring out my wild side?" he told Stiles, trying to play it off as something entirely normal and natural. No, really, it was! Wasn't it? He gave a small sigh as Stiles told him it wasn't too soon for the L-word. Scott couldn't help the cheesy grin that followed and again, the rush of love and protectiveness that he felt for Stiles. This time he managed to swallow down the growl that attempted to form as his blood ran hot with desire. "Guess what?" he said as he pushed the glass back into his hand, "you get to carry this. And this," Scott told him as he pushed the bottle into his other hand and then slid his arms underneath Stiles and lifted him up and headed towards his bedroom, "not having your Dad walk in on us. Nope, not a chance!"
