Loki lifted his free hand and gave the ocean a wave. Of course, he'd looked at it from a distance before, but this was his first venture up close. It was a prettier color than the Atlantic, he'd give it that. Surrounded by the white snow, it looked fairly otherworldly.
He looked down at Lydia. Everything about this moment was otherworldly.
"Very pretty," he replied. His eyes were on her and he gave her hand a squeeze. His heart started to make itself quite known with the way it pounded. It was occasionally easy to forget that he had body as well as a mind. Right now, both were demanding that he kiss her. A deeply masculine part of him wanted to do it for the sake of making sure she wasn't the first to do everything. He smirked at that.
And then, he lowered his head to hers and closed his eyes.
