"You know ordering tempura defeats the purpose of this?" and he pointed to the pot of boiling water in front of them with an equally pointed look on his face. He had nothing against tempura anything, but that would have to be cooked in oil somewhere back in the restaurant's kitchen he suspected.
But he didn't say anything else about it, he gave the server his order, one of the all you can eat options that sampled an array of various meats, vegetables, and noodles.
After that, he needed something to fiddle with so he picked up his chopsticks and broke them apart. He started trying to use them, showing off how bad at using them with either hand he was. He didn't use to be this bad at this, before he lost his biological right hand. But he didn't seem worried.
"Why not?" he asked, all the while still looking very seriously at his chopsticks and his attempt to hold them correctly - in his left hand by now. "Give me a good reason against making them autonomous."
