Stefan was incredibly thankful that he and Elena were back in touch, and that their friendship seemed to be stronger than ever. They could turn to one another to talk about this weird Dream stuff. Even though he was a lot farther ahead in the Dreams than she was, he was hoping they could still console one another after them. And it sounded like Elena had some she wanted to talk about.
Eating was one of those things that he didn't really do all the time. Though, it was true: eating made him feel more human. That and drinking. Heavily. So he decided to meet Elena for lunch--for the eating part, not the heavy drinking part.
Pizza was good, too. He liked pizza.
"Hey," Stefan said with a smile as he came through the outer door to the place. It smelled like garlic and cheese. "Of course." And he offered an arm for a hopefully not awkward hug. "Thanks for inviting me."
