"Not long at all," he said, looking up. His eyes were light green, nearly gray, sweet and stable. He stood, offering his hand, but wondering if it was a good idea. She did have gloves though so that should work. "It's good to meet you. I'm Nathan." He was built like a soldier, a little bigger now, but still in good shape. Rangers, current or former, often still kept themselves in shape.
"I was debating about food, but let's get out of here instead. We are just headed across the street, but this seemed like a better place to meet. That way you can make sure I'm not some serial killer, or cracked out guy that you don't want to be seen with. I'm pretty far from either of those."
