Who: Dan and Liv What: Liv is a nudist When: Early April Where: Dan's place Rating/Warnings: Nudity and feels Status: Complete!
Dan and Liv had been together for over a month now and he was as happy now as he had been three weeks ago. He and Liv spent a lot of time together, either at her place or at his. He was somewhat used to her changing personality traits, and even though last month she had been possessive borderlining on stalker, Dan could still see the true Liv, the woman he loved, underneath.
It wasn’t always easy. Sometimes Liv’s new traits were forcefully put on display. Like, for example, right now when she’d come over to his apartment after work. Phil had the bar for the evening and Dan and Liv had the evening to do whatever they wanted. However, when Liv walked in, she was already stripping out of her clothes. Dan hadn’t even gotten the door closed. Then she was standing absolutely naked in the middle of his apartment. Not that Dan minded.
He raised a brow at her, “so, we’re not goin’ to dinner, then?” He asked.
A day at the morgue and then dinner with Dan. It was a pretty good day if you asked her. Although Liv had originally planned to become a surgeon, she truly did love her job. There was something satisfying about helping to bring justice to those that no longer had a voice. However, clothing was a requirement for work. And for being in public in general. And with this new brain, Liv was not the biggest fan of clothes. Too confining. She was all about feeling free.
So when she finally reached Dan’s apartment she started removing her clothing. That was until Dan reminded her they were supposed to go out. “Do we have to?” Liv asked already completely out of her clothing. It didn’t take long considering she had chosen not to wear any undergarments today. She’d get her freedom where she could take it.
“No, I guess we don’t have to,” Dan responded. He was trying very hard not to laugh at the look she was giving him, like all she’d wanted to do all day was strip down to nothing. How could he disappointed that adorable look? He was just glad she’d managed to wait until she was inside his apartment to do it and not out in the hall. He didn’t have neighbors, but it would have been such a sight to see Liv stark naked in the hall.
“Trouble is I donnea exactly have anything to make dinner with here,” he told her. Dan was the type of individual who tended to only get what he needed right then when he went food shopping. As a result his fridge and pantry were generally bare except for alcohol and the bare essentials one may need in order to keep from starving. “‘Suppose we could order in,” he said as he crossed the room to her to take her hand. He smirked at her playfully, “but ye may wanna put on a shirt when the delivery guy arrives.”
The reason Liv had that look on her face, was because she had indeed been waiting all day to be free. To not be constrained by clothing. A look of relief crossed her face when Dan said they could just order in. Why did society have to make it a thing that clothing was mandatory? As Leon liked to remind her, public nudity was still illegal. However her face fell at the mention of putting on clothes again.
“You can answer the door,” Liv replied. “I should be allowed to be free inside a private residence. Unless of course you have a problem with it and I can just go home.”
Dan laughed. “Darlin’ ye been hanging around Leon a little too much. Only a cop would call an apartment they practically live in a ‘private residence.’ But donnea ye worry, if’n we order in, I’ll handle answerin’ the door for us.”
That is if they ever got as far as actually ordering food. Liv was completely naked in the middle of his apartment, free as a bird. Dan had seen her nude before, naturally, but she was still an attractive woman, an attractive woman that he loved. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t a little bit turned on.
But their life wasn’t just about sex. He gave her hand a squeeze. “I’m not gonna make ye put clothes on,” he gave her a teasing smirk. “I’m rather likin’ the view.”
The being naked thing wasn’t about sex for Liv. It was about being free. Although of course she wouldn’t say no. Even clothed Dan was still hot as hell. It just wasn’t the reason she had stripped down.
“Well I am around cops all the time,” Liv pointed out with a smile. She meant at her job, but even Dan himself could be considered an ex-cop.
“Are you?” she asked coyly. “You know we could just forget about the food and you could join me. I wouldn’t mind my own view,” she paused looking her boyfriend over. “Not that this view is so bad.”
“Aye, I am,” he smirked back at her. He glanced down at himself, clad in a pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt. He wasn’t on duty in the bar, so his usual attire of a dress-shirt and slacks had been left in the closet. It was kind of a tempting offer, to strip down to nothing and join her in her freedom. He understood that’s what the nudity was about. But for him, there was a certain level of vulnerability associated with it as well. In his Dreams, he had been shot to death while in a hotel room in nothing but his underwear. It wasn’t exactly the most dignified way to go. And while a simple t-shirt and jeans weren’t going to do anything to stop a bullet, Dan wasn’t quite ready to strip down to nothing quite yet.
He kissed the side of her cheek, “maybe after our food gets here,” he said. “I haven’t eaten yet t’day and one o’ us should still ‘ave something on for when the food gets here, aye?”
The thing about being in a relationship was that it was okay to be vulnerable around the other person. However, Liv wasn’t going to push her latest cause on Dan. It was enough that he put up with all her personality changes. He didn’t have to partake in them as well.
Liv wasn’t okay with just a peck on the cheek. She pulled him back, giving him a passionate one on the lips. They hadn’t had a proper greeting yet after all. Not with how anxious Liv was to just get out of her clothes. “Okay,” Liv agreed. Although if you asked her it was perfectly fine to answer the door in your birthday suit. But again she knew not everyone was comfortable with that and she would never force Dan. “So what are we having?”
Dan smiled against Liv’s mouth. It was true that with her he felt secure, safe. It had been her face and her touch that had calmed him when he’d woken up in the morgue. Maybe he would give the whole nudity thing a shot once their food arrived. He didn’t need to be showing off for the poor delivery guy. Dan had just gotten to the point where he didn’t mind who knew where he lived, gaining a reputation as a “flasher” was something he probably didn’t need.
“That’s a good question,” he said thoughtfully with his arms around her. “What are ye in the mood for? I was thinking Indian.” Dan knew Liv preferred spicy foods and he was starting to develop a taste for them as well. He still left the hot sauce and the jalapeno margarita’s for Liv. He hadn’t quite gotten to that point yet.
“Indian sounds perfect,” Liv beamed. Dan did know what she liked. Granted it wasn’t difficult to learn. Anything spicy was the basic requirement. But still, the fact that he was eating more spicy foods because of her meant a lot. Not to mention how easy going he was with all her personalities changes. Liv didn’t know how she got so lucky.
“I love you,” Liv said voicing her thoughts in a way. “Now hurry up and order so you can be free with me.”
