“It is rather warm,” Laurence said, glad that she had given him an excuse to not wear his jacket. Under normal circumstance, he would have suffered through the heat regardless, but these could hardly be considered normal circumstances. “I am William,” Laurence said, turning his gaze to the young woman and offering a hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, although the circumstances are rather unusual.
