Freya well knew that it was more than just the diplomatic phrasing of 'very high expectations', and as such she just gave Elijah a pointed look. It was more than that. It stemmed from fear of abandonment and never feeling in control when they were younger. Elijah just didn't know why it had gotten worse now that Klaus was a hybrid. He had power. And Freya did live with him, she put up with a lot but there were times she just needed to say what it was.
"That's the plan. I will obviously do what I can, but I do have a job that I'm also there to do as well. "Then again, Klaus had wanted other magic users to handle the near apocalypse and that she shouldn't be putting herself at risk for them. But that was Klaus and Freya just did her work despite it and dealt with the ranting. "It's not exactly a vacation."
Shaking her head some, Freya took a bite of food, and then a sip of wine, placing the glass down.
"Thank you though. Perhaps if it comes from more than just me he might actually listen." Doubtful. But she could hope.
