It was true that Freya did a lot of work that could be considered worrisome. Especially as she had done it all overseas. Even when she was working with UN Women and usually stayed in one place for the year or so contract, there had been conferences she would go to as well. She just wasn't traveling as much as she did when working with UNHRC or OHCHR or the IRC. Then again, she knew that there was undoubtedly worry as she'd been in Kiev during one of the electrical grid hacking situations. Things that were normal for Freya while would cause worry for her siblings. Then there was how she would often drop everything for her siblings. She wasn't so removed from the days when she'd beat up neighbor kids for picking on her siblings only to get lectured on 'how a proper lady' should react.
"Yes, they are." There were many mottos one could attribute to the Mikaelsons, one such motto being 'if you want it done right, then do it yourself.' While Freya could delegate things, she often found she preferred getting it done herself. At least for the more major things. Things getting scanned in, data entry and that sort of thing were more easily delegated than the things she was catching up on at the moment. Even if she often did double check the data entry. Just in case. It was important information after all.
And there it was. She appreciated the concern, she did. So all she did was reach over and place a hand on Elijah's reassuringly.
"I'll be fine, Elijah. I know my limits." Which was debatable as she often pushed those limits, especially since she'd come back and started dreaming. Taking a sip of wine, Freya shrugged. "Besides, it's not exactly like it can be cancelled or postponed or handed off to someone else. These trips take months to coordinate and get the paperwork done. Still, your reservations are noted. Would you feel better if I make sure to call you once a day to reassure you of this while I'm gone?" Since magical notes would be a bit harder to explain.
