Once they stopped rolling, Leon took a moment to appreciate the fact that the most painful moment of the whole experience had been when Alex collided with him. He remembered one time when Harry had taken a spill down a hill and the pavement had torn up his back through his t-shirt like it was paper. Leon had never given as many "friendly" pats on the back as he had that month.
He tentatively rolled each of his major joints, then sat up. He'd be sore in the morning, maybe a little bruised, but there were no sharp pains to be concerned about. "Thank God for soft landings, eh?" He asked cheerily, fondly patting the snow under him.
