Who: Ahsoka and Li What: Talking about moving When: After Yang and Li talked Where: Their place Status: Complete Rating: PG
Moving out and getting their own place had been something that had been on Li’s mind for a while now. It had nothing to do with Yang asking if a friend of hers could move in, but that had spurred Li to actually bring the topic up with Ahsoka. After all, she didn’t want to make any of Yang’s friends uncomfortable when she and Ahsoka had sex or something. So it was probably best that they got their own place.
“Ahsoka, do you have a minute to talk?” She asked, taking a break from her schoolwork.
Stretching, Ahsoka turned to her girlfriend. She’d also been thinking things might get a little crowded, though she was less reluctant to move out as she had continuing concerns about Yang’s mental health. But as long as Yang wasn’t alone.. “I always have time for you.”
“I’ve been thinking about something off and on lately, but even moreso with Yang’s friend moving in. What if we got a place of our own?” Even when it was just the three of them, sometimes the place felt cramped. And, well, with the way Ahsoka and Li tended to carry on together, having their own place might be the better option.
“...really?” Ahsoka straightened up at full attention. “I kind of wouldn’t mind that. But I’m also pretty used to a lot of people being around. Jedi were pretty communal and so is my species. But it might be nice to be just the two of us.”
“I think it would be nice. It also would give us more privacy, and cut down on any potential awkward encounters with others while we’re not fully clothed.” Li had no shame in her body, but she also wasn’t wanting to have any roommates get an eyeful of something they shouldn’t get an eyeful of. So long as she could help it, of course.
“That does seem to happen a lot.” Ahsoka admitted. She ran her fingers through Li’s hair. “But it might be nice to walk around naked without anyone but you to see.”
Not that she was a nudist or anything, but it seemed like it might be fun now and again.
Li chuckled a little. “It would be nice, yes. Not that I am an exhibitionist or anything.” But sometimes it would be nice to go from the bedroom to the bathroom, or vice versa, without a roommate getting an eyeful!
“Sometimes I think you are one. And me too.” Ahsoka grinned at Li, then pulled her closer. She liked Yang, she really did, but the idea of being able to strike out on her own with her girlfriend was growing more and more appealing.
“Perhaps there is some truth in that.” After all, the couple sets of armor that Li had gotten from her dreams was, well, a little revealing in some ways. She slid her hands up along Ahsoka’s arms. “You do look good naked.” She smirked.
“What’s your favorite part?” Ahsoka felt like changing the subject, and this was one of the better subjects she could think of. Or maybe it was a way of saying she was okay with the move.
“I don’t think I can name just one. I like tracing your white markings. You have a great ass and muscle tone. You also make a nice bed.” Li responded with a smirk. She liked laying on Ahsoka. She also had very good pillows.
Ahsoka laughed, picking Li up in her arms and nuzzling her. “I like all of you too.” Even the burn marks and all.
Li grinned, slipping her arms around Ahsoka’s neck and she nuzzled her back. “I’m glad for that.” Sometimes Li could be a bit self-conscious about her burn scars. Partly because they did look bad, but mostly because the pain was still fresh in her mind.
“I want a big tub,” Ahsoka said. She’d never been one to take large or long baths, but she could think of some other things they could get up to in a large tub. “And a second bedroom, for training, meditation. And so you could practice your music with good acoustics.”
“I am fine with a big tub.” Li liked baths, and she would certainly like them with Ahsoka as well. “That would certainly be good. It would have room for a desk with my recording equipment and have enough space left over for meditating and training. Also a nice sized kitchen would be a necessity.” Considering that Li liked to cook and all.
“You don’t have to cook for me, you know.” Ahsoka smiled at her, “I don’t mind, but I never want you to feel like I’m… not helping in that respect.”
Considering she’d nearly burned the flat down that one time…
“I know, but I don’t mind. I like cooking. And sometimes the best Chinese food is what I cook.” Li could be very picky about eating at Chinese restaurants or getting takeout. Americanized food was definitely a thing in regards to Chinese food. Plus there were dishes that she liked that weren’t easily found here. So cooking them herself tended to be the best way to go there.
"You always manage to make things that are delicious," Ahsoka pointed out. "And that I can still you know, eat." She didn't think about it much, but sometimes she missed vegetables. Her father still refused to let her eat with him, even after she'd gotten a forged doctor's note saying it was a medical necessity that she eat meat.
“Thank you, and I like making sure that I make food that you can eat.” Li smiled. She always made certain to make a lot of meat, considering Ahsoka’s diet. Enough that they both could have full meals. Li just tended to round hers out with noodles or vegetables, depending on the dish she wanted. “It’s rather easy cooking for a meat eater,” she noted with a smile.
“But I know it adds up. Do you think we’d be okay on our own?” It was lucky that Ahsoka wasn’t too picky with her meat and Li could make anything taste good. Some people Ahsoka knew were pickier, or had religious beliefs. She could respect the latter, but the former bothered her.
“I don’t see why we wouldn’t? Sure it’d probably be scary being on our own, but if we draw up a budget just to ensure we don’t outspend ourselves, I think we’ll be okay.” Not that they lived in excess now, but Li knew it might help keep them on the right track if they had a budget and such to stick to.
“Lucky for both of us I’m pretty good at living within my means.” She leaned in, kissing Li again. “Though I’m kind of hungry for something else right now.”
“So am I,” Li responded with a smile. She returned the kiss, then smirked and a glint passed through her eyes as she looked at Ahsoka. “Oh really? I don’t think I know what you mean.”
Ahsoka didn’t answer with words, simply leaning in and leaving a trail of love bites down Li’s neck.
Okay, so she too a cue from Yang, “Actually, I’m kind of in the mood for Chinese.”
Li groaned a bit, tilting her head back to give Ahsoka better access to her neck. “Mm I like the sound of that,” she responded, tightening her arms around Ahsoka’s neck.
“Mm.” So it was definitely dinner time.
Smiling, Li leaned in and kissed Ahsoka fully. She did like having this kind of dinner. Plus she liked the feel of Ahsoka’s hands and mouth on her.
Ahsoka’s hands were eager, and so was her mouth. In fact her mouth was so eager that as she trailed it down Li’s neck she breathed, “Lets get married.”
Kriff!
Li groaned softly, loving her girlfriend’s eager hands and mouth. She fully encouraged this action. Though at hearing those words come out of Ahsoka’s mouth, Li’s eyes opened. “What?” She asked, not completely certain that she heard Ahsoka right.
“Nothing!” Ahsoka leaned in, trying to distract Li with her sharp, sharp teeth and soft, soft hands. “Just, uh, lets hurry, I’m really hungry.”
The teeth and hands were rather distracting. “Okay,” she said as a shiver ran through her. Li wasn’t certain how to even address what Ahsoka had mentioned. If she’d even heard her right.
“Okay,” Ahsoka confirmed, closing her eyes and trying to fight what felt like a very real panic attack. She hoped she could lose herself in Li and forget it had ever happened.
Li’s hands started wandering around Ahsoka’s body. She did her best to push thoughts from her mind and simply focus on Ahsoka.
Maybe another time. Maybe Ahsoka would bring it up another time. For now, she wanted to focus on what she had now. Not what she might have in the future.
