Abigail had experienced a horrible few days. The dreams had her wake up with one ear cut off on the same day as the temples messed with her phones. She'd made it to a hospital, spent a few days getting the side of her head stitched up and talking to doctors and cops who wanted to know what really happened. It all had become too much for her - a constant reminder of the time she had spent in the hospital in her dreams, with everyone wanting to know the truth about her past. She escaped from the hospital to spend her time running and hiding from the chaos and everyone else, until she was transported to the jungle temple.
Abigail blinked, not seeing a temple at all, but a vision of her dorm room. As she tried to figure out what was happening, the door room opened and her father, Garret Jacob Hobbs, stood in front of her. He stepped closer to her, planted a gentle kiss on her forehead and hugged her closely to him.
"My Abigail." Garret declared. "I love you so much. I want to make you part of me forever." His hands moved over her back, stopping over kidneys, then he slid his hands down lower and whispered to her, describing her body as various cuts of meat. "Not a bit of you would be wasted." He said when he was done and stepped back. "But it doesn't have to be that way, Abigail. I've come up with a plan so you can live. We can find other girls to take your place."
"No, no, no." Abigail stepped back. This couldn't be happening. She'd had others on the network promise they'd keep him away if he ever came to the O.C. She wanted to run but he was between her and the door. She looked around and for the first time realized someone else was in the room as well. She looked over at them, feeling such guilt that they were caught up in this too. "I'm sorry."
