Who: Ahsoka and Li What: The start of their anniversary! When: 6/22 Where: A beach house Status: complete Rating: PG
Taking some of the advice she was given to heart, Ahsoka had planned a whole week for their anniversary. While thanks to magic Li wasn’t as bad as she was before, Ahsoka had decided that things like roller coasters were a bad idea.
But thanks to help from someone else, Ahsoka had gotten a little beach house, with the whole ocean in front of them - and that huge tub for lots of sex.
And she’d made Li stay blindfolded the whole drive up.
The burn on her hip was mostly healed, but it still looked...ugly, to say the least. Li was somewhat the vain type, so looking at the scarring was not something she liked doing. So far, the salve that Morrigan had given her seemed to be helping, but it was still early yet.
“Was the blindfold really necessary?” Li asked, probably for the millionth time. But she’d been good and hadn’t tried peaking during the drive, but she was dying to know where they were going.
The beach was private, for skinny dipping and also burn hiding purposes, though Ahsoka wasn’t entirely sure if it would sting or not. “We’re almost there. It’s gonna be a little bumpy.”
The road from the freeway was pretty long, but Ahsoka finally reached over to pull the blindfold off. “We’ve still got another twenty minutes, but I thought you’d like the view.”
Stretching before them was the ocean, the sun just beginning to set.
When Ahsoka pulled the blindfold off, it took several moments for Li’s eyes to adjust. But finally, that view came into focus. “Oh wow, the view is gorgeous,” she commented with a smile. Li liked the ocean, always thought it was beautiful. However, she wasn’t so certain about swimming in it currently, if only because of her scars. Not only the ones on both hips, but the ones on her chest from the lightning.
“It is.” Ahsoka said, pointedly staring at Li as she did so before returning her eyes to the road. It curved around until finally they reached the little beach house. It had a small living room, but large bedroom and bathroom, and a medium sized kitchen. “So how do you like our home for a full five days?”
Li looked at Ahsoka and smiled at the pointed stare. When she saw the beach house, it certainly was cute, though she was a bit taken aback by the comment of being here for five days. “Wait, five days? This is ours for five days?” She was more surprised at the fact they were staying in a beach house than she was at them spending five days there.
“Yes!” Ahsoka took Li’s hand, running her fingers over it. “Five days. No stress, no work, nothing but sun and fun and a really big tub. And I’m sure that Yang will be happy to have us out of her hair.” Though from what Ahsoka could tell Yang had been spending her post-breakup time playing a lot of really violent games.
Li smiled. “I like the sound of that.” Considering it was summer break, she didn’t have to worry about getting back for school. “She probably will. I just hope that she’ll be alright.” Li meant that in the emotional sense. Yang had obviously cared about Evie, otherwise she wouldn’t have been so torn about what to do. She hoped that Yang could find some peace.
“She will be, once she can balance her emotions. I think maybe she feels some relief.” Ahsoka got out of the car to get their bags. “Better to cut things off sooner, rather than let things get worse before doing it.”
“She was really conflicted when I talked to her before she broke up with Evie, but she knew she needed to do it.” Li got out of the car and stretched a bit. “Exactly, doing it sooner was definitely better.”
Ahsoka floated the bags in the air, so she could hug Li from behind. “If you’re worried about anyone from my dreams, I’ve never loved that hard.”
She’d had crushes. And she’d kill to actually talk to Barriss about … things. But she loved Li unequivocally.
She smiled and leaned back against Ahsoka, resting her hands over Ahsoka’s. “That’s a relief. And if you’re worried about anyone from my dreams, I never even had crushes on anyone.” Li had been too focused on her destiny and the fight at hand to fall in love with anyone. She didn’t even really registered if someone was attractive in her dreams.
“Good to know that you’re all mine.” She nipped at Li’s ear. And she was really kind of touched. But then she hadn’t looked much at anyone in her own dreams either. Those basic crushes hadn’t translated much. Unless she simply hadn’t remembered, like some of her other dreams that had been more recent.
Li shivered slightly at the nip to her ear. “Definitely all yours,” she responded. “And I’m glad that you’re all mine.” She hadn’t really anticipated love or anything of the sort to come to her so early in life. But right now? She definitely wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
Ahsoka nibbled again. For a little while she’d been worried that Li’s scars might make her less attractive to her. If anything, her attraction to Li continued to grow, scars or no. “Not going anywhere.”
Another shiver ran through her. She turned around in Ahsoka’s arms and slipped her arms around her. “Good because neither am I.” She leaned up to kiss Ahsoka. Li had been worried that her scars might put Ahsoka off. Especially the one on her hip considering how horrific that wound had been.
Li was okay, and that was what mattered. Ahsoka couldn’t lie, she was very very attracted to her, but she’d think she was beautiful no matter how horrific the scarring was. “We should go inside…”
And part of her really did want to make Li her’s for life.
But that part of her warred with the parts of her that couldn’t let go of old habits.
“I think we should go inside as well.” Li was curious as to what the inside of the house looked like. But she was also far more interested in being with Ahsoka. It had seemed like an eternity since they’d last had sex. But of course, Li had not wanted to jar the injury on her hip too much until she was more certain that it was healed. Morrigan’s spells had done the trick, healing the skin graft enough that it wouldn’t tear or get rejected or anything.
Ahsoka hadn’t been counting the days, but it had been far too long since they’d done anything. Even cuddling in bed had been difficult - she’d slept on the floor for a few weeks, but then the floor was a lot softer than some other places she’d slept. It hadn’t bothered her. At least any place where Li might think it bothered her.
She’d been relieved when sleeping in bed had been possible without jostling Li.
Okay so maybe one reason why she’d jumped on this idea had been because she’d been incredibly horny.
“Okay.” She picked Li up in her big, strong arms, and carried her inside, their bags floating behind them. “And we’re in!”
It had been a rather painful experience. Getting comfortable anywhere had been difficult for a while. But now it was easier. Li could move freely, but she was still careful of herself. She wouldn’t be running or leaping into magic fights just yet until she knew her injury was well healed.
Li smiled when Ahsoka picked her up in her big, strong arms and she slid her arms around her neck. “My hero,” she complimented with a grin.
“Yep!” Ahsoka used the Force to close the door behind them and only put Li down after several more moments of just enjoying holding her. “This is… kinda cute. Homey and comfy.”
She just hoped the humidity didn’t kill her. But it was worth it for Li. And the view.
She looked around the place, admiring it. “Definitely homey and comfy looking. But not as comfy as you are.” Li said, smiling at Ahsoka after she was put down. It was a fact that Li liked snuggling Ahsoka.
“Do you want to go watch the sun finish setting?” Ahsoka asked, threading her fingers through Li’s hair. “There are some beach chairs out on the porch. Close enough to hold hands. Or you could just cuddle in my lap.”
“Is that even a serious question? Because you know I’ll choose your lap.” Li teased with a chuckle. It would be romantic, watching the sunset with such scenery around them. It would indeed be intensely beautiful and perfect, a good way to unwind from the drive here.
Laughing, Ahsoka led Li back outside. The chairs looked like they’d been recently cleaned, and Ahsoka sank into one, stretching her legs out on it and beckoning Li over. She affected a snooty accent. “Come! Sit upon my lap!”
Li followed Ahsoka back outside, and couldn’t help but to laugh at the accent. “If you insist!” She responded with a grin before moving to sit on Ahsoka’s lap. She shifted a little before she found a comfortable spot and leaned into Ahsoka. “Now this is how to experience a sunset.”
“With a beautiful woman? I can’t think of any better ways.” Except maybe the right kind of guy, but Ahsoka had always been the kind of bisexual that leaned more towards women. Even in her dreams she’d always responded more to girls. Considering she was generally oblivious to such things, that said a lot. She nuzzled Li’s neck and held her close.
“Neither can I,” she responded with a smile. She closed her eyes for some moments as Ahsoka nuzzled her neck. She snuggled close to Ahsoka, a content smile on her face. “It’s so peaceful here,” she commented after a minute. She’d noted the tranquility of the place, and she liked it.
“I figured you could use it. Tranquility and quiet.” As long as their dreams didn’t follow them, anyway. That was always going to be a worry, one that Ahsoka would never quite let go. The horror of waking up to Li being burned was etched in her memory. She could meditate it away, but it would still always be there.
“You are amazing. I love you.” Li said as she pressed a kiss to Ahsoka’s cheek. As traumatic as the experience had been, Li was a bit relieved that she hadn’t been able to feel that injury. Otherwise she probably would have woken up the entire apartment building with her screaming. But she understood images being burned into memory. The image of Yang’s severed arm was forever burned into hers no matter what she did to try and push it away.
Ahsoka beamed, for once not fighting the idea that she might or might not be amazing. She stroked her fingers through Li’s hair, wondering if maybe Li should style it. Something rebellious, but not too short. Ahsoka kind of had a thing for Li’s hair.
“I try!”
She loved the feel of Ahsoka’s fingers in her hair. Really, Li should probably get a haircut. She’d always kept it long, but she hadn’t exactly cut it since before that recital with the disastrous outcome she liked to not think about. So it probably was time to do something with it.
“You succeed.” Li grinned and nuzzled her cheek against Ahsoka’s.
“I love you.” Sometimes it was hard to even think it. To let herself have this happiness that she’d earned. The fear against attachment ran deep. But there was a part of her that resented the Jedi, and it flew a middle finger at all the rules.
“And suddenly.” She nipped at Li’s neck. “I’m hungry.”
Smiling, she tilted her head back, exposing more of her neck to Ahsoka. “Do I need to ask what you’re hungry for, or is the answer obvious?” Li asked. Which obviously meant that she wondered if Ahsoka was hungry for her and not food.
“We probably should eat, but I really kind of want dessert first,” Ahsoka hummed. She lifted her head looking at Li with some concern in her blue eyes. “If you’re feeling okay..”
Li chuckled at Ahsoka’s response. She then looked back at her girlfriend, seeing the concern in her eyes. She pressed a hand against Ahsoka’s cheek. “I feel good.” Besides, Li should probably actually test it a little anyway. It had had ample healing time on top of Morrigan’s spells, so at worst it would probably be more discomfort as opposed to pain that she’d feel.
“Okay. But if it hurts or anything when we … you know. Tell me okay?” Ahsoka wasn’t into that whole pain and pleasure thing like some people were. Light scratching and biting didn’t count!
“I will, I promise,” she said. Li wasn’t into the pain and pleasure thing either. She just prefered pleasure straight up. Pain tended to break the moment, and she definitely didn’t want to break the moment if she could help it.
Ahsoka pulled Li into a kiss, then leaned their foreheads together. “Soooo.. It’s been a whole year since our first date. How do you like your surprise?”
Li kissed her back. Then at the question, she blinked, but kept her forehead leaned against Ahsoka’s. “I love it! Though I can hardly believe it’s been a year already.” It was difficult to believe at times, but in others it seemed like just yesterday.
“I know. It feels like hardly any time has passed at all.” Or a small eternity, but Ahsoka didn’t mean that in a bad way. “I look forward to another year. And more.”
“So am I.” Li said with a wide, warm smile. She definitely wasn’t going anywhere. She didn’t want anyone else, she just wanted Ahsoka.
Ahsoka grinned at her, and very carefully hugged her. Maybe she should get that ring. Maybe.
