Nina had offered her help to the young man who had died recently in his dreams because she knew how it felt. When she had experienced it she'd felt disconnected and numb for a while afterwards and if checking him over could offer some reassurance then she would do what she could. Luckily the shift she was on was a quiet one and being in the position she was nobody would mind or really notice that she was seeing someone who wasn't a patient here.
As soon as she was bleeped she made her way to reception to collect him, smiling as she approached a somewhat nervous looking young man she asked, "Doug?" before holding out her hand.
