Tas wasn't a child, though at first glance he could easily be mistaken for one. He had the stature of a ten year old, with his extremely long hair tied up in a topknot at the top of his head. His face, however, was definitely not that of a child's, though it was difficult to tell just how old he was by looking at him. Wrinkles accompanied his expressions whenever he smiled, which was often, or frowned, which was not.
"Hi!" Tas said cheerfully. "Are you the lady who does the face painting? I assume you are, since I just saw you painting the fact of that little girl over there. I saw someone earlier - they were a tiger - and I thought about how much fun that looked and I asked them where they got it done and the pointed me over here! I sure would love to get my face painted, if it is you that's doing them!"
