While Morrigan had always known that flying while carrying someone on her back would be tiring, she had underestimated just how tiring it could be. The added weight made her use her wings more. But she swooped around the area a few more times, giving Maia ample targets to hit, and also to clean up the area so they could land safely and Morrigan could have time to breathe.
On what was going to be the last swoop, Morrigan plucked a husk up with her front claw, digging into it, then she lifted off into the air, dropping it from a height that would ensure it would die after hitting the ground. She circled around once more, then went in for a landing in a cleared part of the area. She would wait for Maia to get off of her before shifting forms.
