Alecto grinned at his reaction. Then she bowed. "Thank you, thank you. I'm amazing, I know." It was actually pretty fun to get to show people her magic. Even if it wasn't fancy magic. She hadn't even changed a rat into a cup. Not that that sounded like a very hygienic cup. She'd probably never use it if she turned a rat into a cup. But since he'd requested for her to wait on the rest of the magic, she just moved to sit down again.
Sometimes, Alecto had to admit that she wished she could at least learn how to do more magic. Even the dark magic. But she knew it was for the best not to poke a sleeping dragon. Which meant she would have to get better at other things.
"Yep! We turn rats into cups and everything. It's pretty amazing. Oh! And apparating! I could probably apparate across the room if I wanted to, but I just sat down, so I guess I'll stay here. I'm not great at potions, but I know about a lot of them. They could probably be useful." She took a sip of her wine and leaned back. "There are spells to make people happy, but it's pretty false. I like Tarantallegra. It makes people dance uncontrollably. Until you stop it. It's helpful when dueling if you get it to work. I've been practicing a lot of cleaning spells recently. For something to do."
