She was not a killer here. She didn't really want to be either. She may have had a slight obsession with serial killers and murder mysteries, but that didn't mean that she wanted to go out and kill people. Was she tempted by her Dark Magic? Yes, sometimes. Still not murderous.
The thing with Alecto was that being kissed rarely drove her away, but she'd have frowned at the concept of being kissed because she seemed sad. The touch to her chin wasn't really something she experienced often on its own, so she arched an eyebrow.
Instead of questioning him, however, she sat down on the arm of the sofa. When he asked about magic, a smile worked its way across her face. She stood back up before setting down her wine and pulling out her wand. She considered the room before settling again on her wine glass. It wasn't too ambitious, but she still cast Leviosa, making the wine glass lift off the table she'd set it on before walking over to pick it up out of the air. No need for spilled wine. Especially when she intended to drink it.
She considered something for a moment, walking closer to Peter before saying, "And now to make myself appear like a proper magician...Orchideous." She held out the wand so the flowers popped out in reach. She knew enough about bouquets to know how to think of something, but she'd gone for a dried one as opposed to something that seemed more generic to her. "But that's just charms. Wait until you see Transfiguration."
