Who: Allison Argent
What: Contemplating her breakup with Scott
Where: Her apartment
When: Monday Night
Status: Closed/Complete (Narrative)

Allison sat alone in her apartment looking at old pictures on her phone of herself and Scott McCall. It wasn’t the healthiest thing to do, but ever since she dreamt that dream over again he had been on her mind.

Something had felt off ever since Allison broke it off with Scott. It wasn’t that she felt incomplete without a boyfriend. She was always perfectly comfortable on her own, and she wasn’t totally on her own, anyway. There were plenty of people in her life – Derek, Lydia, Danny, and a smattering of people that she spoke to on the internet. It was simply that Scott had been so important to her and she thought she had been pretty important to him, as well.

In her dreams the two of them had gotten close fast. Their chemistry had been undeniable. It had been the same in real life. The first date they had been on went like something straight out of a romantic movie. Scott was sweet, a little goofy, and genuine. It was incredibly easy for Allison to fall for him.

He had dreams just like she did, and his dreams mirrored hers with the only difference being that they were shown from his perspective. As it sometimes goes in Orange County, their dreams started to seep into real life. Because Scott was a werewolf in his dreams, he’d turned into one in his waking life, and just as it was in the dreams Allison served as the anchor that kept him from getting out of control. Knowing that she was such an important part of his life only made her love him more.

So why had they broken up?

The longer Allison spent away from him, the more she started to believe it was all a mistake. Yes, they’d been growing apart, but that was only because Allison’s dreams had stopped for a while. Without him in her dreams she felt like she was missing part of him in her life. She’d done the wrong thing and shut him out of her waking life, as well, even though at the time it had seemed like the right thing.

Now, as she looked at pictures of them together, selfies of the two of them with their arms around each other with smiles on their faces, it was becoming glaringly obvious that it was probably the wrong thing. She missed him and her opportunity to be with him had passed her by. Allison had never felt like more of an idiot.

For any other girl, this would have been a good time to call their mother. Allison resisted the impulse. She already knew what her mother would tell her because she knew the way her mother thought. Victoria Argent would argue that Allison was better off without a boyfriend, that she could focus on being a better person without someone by her side. Victoria Argent was no romantic.

Or maybe it was a good time to call her best friend, but then again Lydia was still getting over the sting of losing Stiles. How would it feel to hear Allison complaining about missing Scott? It felt selfish. No, Allison would suffer this one on her own. She sighed and exited her phone’s photo album. Instead, she reached for her television remote control and flipped it on. Maybe some binge watching would help distract her.
