Mia had cut back the hours at the beach, and was only working there on the weekends, now. Those were always the busiest days, though--especially on a holiday weekend--so she was pretty exhausted by the time she got home. Plus she had all this stupid stuff with Charlie floating around her head.

Mia flopped onto the couch as soon as she got home, face-planting onto a pile of pillows. "People suuuuck," she mumbled into the pillows.

	Tyrion had not moved off the couch except for bathroom breaks and had no intention of doing so otherwise. Still, he did pass her the bowl of pretzels on the table when she flopped. "Yes, I'm afraid they do. Care to talk about it?" (Reply to this)

Like the guys, Mia could pretty much always eat. She rolled onto her side and grabbed and handful of pretzels. "I don't know," she said. There wasn't really a specific incident from work that stuck out that she could blame it on. "Everything. Nothing. Boys. Ugh."

She kicked off her flip-flops and curled up. "There's this guy, Charlie. And. I don't know. It's complicated. Stupidly complicated, and I just wish things were easier."

"Well, he's a nice guy. And he thinks I'm cute, which shouldn't be a thing but it is. And he's fun, but argh! I don't want to date anybody. Like. Ever. But he likes me and I like him, but I told him I want to be friends and now it's awkward, and I want to hang out, but I'm paranoid that he wants to get in my pants. And he's been kinda down lately because of stuff, and I want him to get help and get better, but what am I gonna do, you know? I don't wanna, like, manipulate him with sex to get him to do what I want, you know?"

She stopped, realizing that she was rambling.

	Tyrion felt actually quite bad for Mia, rambling aside. How thoroughly warped her idea of what a relationship should be was. As if he had room to talk. "I hesitate to suggest something so obvious, but have you talked with him about your concerns? Hardly would be manipulation if you're up front about it." (Reply to this)

"Yeah. Well, kind of. I mean, I told him that I just want to be friends, and he said that was okay, but I don't know if it was a 'Okay, I'll just hang around and do dreamy stuff at you and wait for you to give me the signal' type thing. And I told him upfront that I was worried about him. I asked him to get help, but it just turned into an ice cream date, which. I don't know. He's all depressed and it's like the only time he perks up is when there's date-like stuff and I don't want the possibility of having sex with me to be the only thing that keeps him going but at the same time, what if it is, I don't want to beat him about the head with the fact that I just want to be friends, especially since I kind of do like him, even if I don't really want to and I'm rambling again."

Mia frowned. "Told you it was complicated."

	Tyrion frowned. Teenage girls, no matter how well meaning, always seemed to be incredibly ridiculous around boys, particularly the ones they liked. "I see. Well, then you have to remove yourself from the situation. If it makes you uncomfortable, there is no reason you should remain in it." And he'd happily get Bronn's help to remove the issue entirely should it become required. (Reply to this)

Mia flipped through the channels until she found some nature show where some animal was eating another animal.

She shrugged. "I don't know. Because Charlie's not the only guy that exists in the world, I guess. It's not just about him. I don't want to like anybody. I don't want to date ever, and I definitely don't wanna have sex."

She sighed. "But that's all brain stuff. Because I do wanna kiss Charlie sometimes, and I'm sure he's not gonna be the only guy that happens with. And. Ugh. I just wanna turn it all off."

	He was making sense. She nodded a little. "Stupid urges," she grumbled. She shook her head. "No, I don't think so. I mean. Not 'expects'. 'Wants', probably. He'd be freaking ecstatic. 	"No, I don't. He's a good guy." She was suddenly glad Bronn wasn't here, because nobody needed to get beaten up over Mia's venting. "I guess it's just something I have to get over and stop being paranoid about." After all, it wasn't exactly fair for her to get all bent out of shape over Charlie thinking she was hot when she kind of wanted to kiss him, too. (Reply to this)
