Who: Tyler, Blossom, Bubbles, Stefan When: Mid to late May Where: Stefanâs house What: A double date Rating/Warnings: Low/None Status: Complete
Tyler was actually kind of grateful for the chance to go on a double date with Blossom and her sister. He hadnât met either of her sisters yet, but it seemed like a nice enough time. Besides, he hadnât had much time for fun this month yet, as he was still trying to find a safe place to co ntain himself for his werewolf transformation later this month. He was beginning to think that he might have to hike up a mountain and hope that his canine self would keep itself contained up there with the game. And hope that there didnât happen to be anyone hiking around at the time.
But now wasnât the time to dwell on such things. Tonight was about getting to know Blossomâs sister and her boyfriend, and getting to see Blossom in a bathing suit. And he was feeling pretty good about the whole thing.
At least until they pulled up to Bubbleâs boyfriendâs place. Tyler had been there before. Heâd been there before Caroline had moved in with her boyfriend, and he knew Stefan lived there. He also knew that Caroline had lived with other people, though Tyler couldnât put a name to any of them at the moment. He hadnât seen Stefan since heâd nearly killed him. It wasnât that he was avoiding him, it was just that if he knew Stefan was going to be somewhere, Tyler made a point of not being there either.
Okay, so he was avoiding him. âWhat did you say your sisterâs dateâs name was?â Tyler asked Blossom hesitantly as they walked up to the front door, a case of beer in his hands and a bag with his trunks and a towel slung over his shoulder.
Blossom had not been angling for this, at all. Nope, not her. Okay, so maybe a little. Not so much the âdouble dateâ aspect of it, more the âmeet Bubblesâ boyfriendâ aspect of it. Their Dad was very much of the opinion that they were smart girls who could choose suitable boyfriends for themselves. So far, that had been true in Blossomâs case (the one boyfriend sheâd had previously was adequate yes) and Bubbles had been lacking in discussing boys until she met Stefan. Which was a whole complicated thing. So, double date, at Stefanâs house, and being told to bring bathing gear because he had a hot tub, well that was fun, right? Although she was a little curious as to a vampireâs house.
But then, Blossom was dating a werewolf, she could no longer throw stones about the vampire thing. Not that she had been, it was just a logical and rational worry for her sisterâs safety.
âUm, itâs Stefan. Heâs⊠Iâm not sure what he does. He doesnât go to college with us and Iâm not even sure how they met.â Go Blossom, so astute on the important things. âBut um, he seems nice?â For all that Blossom had been trying to get information on him, so far, it wasnât like he was a secret serial killer. âWhy? Are you okay?â
Tyler hesitated before continuing the walk. âYeah, I'm fine. We went to highschool together,â Tyler said. He hadn't told Blossom that he'd actually bitten someone when he was a wolf, and he hadn't expected it to come up so soon. âI'm fine, he was just⊠one of the people who was there last month and I don't know if he'll be happy to see me.â If the positions were reversed, Tyler didn't think he'd let Stefan in the hot tub.
There would probably be a lot of awkward werewolf related things coming up at some point, but Blossom figured that those would just be part of the territory here. âHey, itâs okay. Iâm sure if we need to, we can just explain it, you werenât in control, what happened wasnât your fault.â Blossom didnât know the details, she sort of figured that maybe Tyler chased the people there, like in those movies where thereâs running and the silly girl goes to the basement or the attic and gets trapped and thereâs a big climax. But it wasnât like Tyler meant to do anything bad.
âIâve got your back.â Thatâs what bros did, right? Well, girlfriends could do it too. She gave Tyler what she hoped was an encouraging smile, squeezing his hand before ringing the doorbell.
Stefan and Bubbles were inside the house already. Heâd asked her to come over early, to help him prepare for the day. Of course, it hadnât been that long since heâd been human, but he wanted her opinion on all the things--the flavors of the meal heâd prepared, for one. He didnât want to serve Bubblesâ sister bad stuff. First impressions meant a lot, right? And he had to apologize somehow for nearly dying and putting Bubbles through so much.
He was up to his elbows in hamburger meat, though, at the sound of the doorbell. The charcoal was going in the barbecue in the back, and Stefan was currently forming patties while Bubbles⊠was she working on a salad? Or something? There were still a lot of things to do.
âBubbles?â He asked, glancing over his shoulder in the last direction heâd seen her. âCan you get the door?â
Bubbles had been more than happy to help, glad to add veggie burgers to the list of things that were being served. She'd found a few brands that really tasted good and that she liked. Plus, helping also meant more time with Stefan and she couldn't really complain about that.
However, when he asked her to answer the door, she stopped chopping up vegetables and skipped over to the door. Sheâd never really had a double date before, much less with her sisters, so this was doubly exciting for her. She was sure that Blossomâs boyfriend was absolutely wonderful because he liked Blossom and that was the most important part.
She paused, counting to five before carefully opening the door. She was really trying not to accidentally pull doors off their hinges these days. When she saw Blossom and the boy she assumed was Blossom's boyfriend, she smiled brightly. âHello! I'm Bubbles. It's very nice to meet you. Hello to you, too, Blossom! Come inside. Stefan is busy with the hamburgers.â Really only Blossom would know her feelings about that, but she understood not everyone felt the way she did. Sheâd already assured him it was fine.
Growing up with a girl that decided killing animals to eat was mean had been tough, since Blossom loved to eat said dead animals, but they were always supportive of Bubblesâ choice to go vegetarian, and theyâd tried to be as considerate where possible -it usually meant they didnât have barbecues at home, just so that Bubblesâ didnât need to deal with it all. âHey you.â Still, she got a super grin and a quick hug for her sister and her obviously considerate thoughts for others too.
âBubbles, this is Tyler.â Since Blossom had spoken a little about her boyfriend but not at length. She doubted Bubbles would start a quest to find out secrets, but that might just be Blossomâs thing. âAre we too early?â Although she was pretty sure this was the right time to show up.
Tyler felt a little better with Blossom by his side, and he gave her hand a squeeze before she rang the bell. And then Bubbles was answering the door. For a minute, Tyler looked for a sign that the girls were related, but then he remembered that all three of them were adopted. âHey, Bubbles,â he said, releasing Blossomâs hand so he could shake Bubbleâs without letting go of the beer.
Stefan could hear the voices coming from the doorway. He paused mid-patty when he heard the name. Tyler. That had to be a coincidence, right? But then again⊠Orange County really liked to fuck with him, didnât it? Stefan finished the patty, then moved to wash his hands in the sink, giving them all a moment to say hello before heâd come join them.
Bubbles wasn't really the person who searched for secrets and hidden dangers...despite what happened in her dreams. Buttercup was probably the one to fear when it came to either of them. She hugged Blossom quietly, glad to have her sister with her before shaking Tyler's hand. "You might as well come sit down." She led the way to the living room, half-skipping as she did. She motioned to the couch. "Stefan should be out soon." She held up a finger to signal "one minute" before disappearing into the kitchen again.
âSee?â Blossom just smiled broadly at Tyler, tugging him along with her a little further into the house. Bubbles was happy, Blossom figured that searching for more on Stefan would just come from getting to know him. âEverything will be fine, itâll be a lovely day.â Food and a sort of pool party in a hot tub, that was enjoyable right?
Tyler hadnât really known what to expect when it came to meeting Blossomâs sister, but she sure was bubbly. Her name seemed kind of perfect, in that sense. As the blonde practically skipped into the living room, Tyler shot Blossom an amused look as if to ask âis she always like this?â before he followed her. It was kind of refreshing, really. Add Blossomâs presence, and he was feeling a little more relaxed by the time he sat on the couch.
âSo, Bubbles, do you go to UCI too?â Tyler asked, taking a seat. He didnât know too much about the vampires from his dreams yet, but he was pretty sure they had enhanced hearing, which meant that Stefan would no doubt be aware of his presence now that he spoke, no matter where he was in the house. It was probably better to give him a heads up instead of surprising the vampire.
So, Blossomâs boyfriend was Tyler Lockwood. Stefan was sure of it when the man came into the house and talked to the girls. This was a very, very strange turn of events, actually. The vampire finished washing and drying his hands, just as Bubbles was popping back into the kitchen. He held out a veggie tray to her, and smiled. Or, tried to smile. He felt a little nervous about the whole Tyler thing. âCâmon.â
Then he was grabbing some beers from the fridge and heading into the living room to greet Bubblesâ sister and her werewolf boyfriend. First thing he did when they got there was offer one of the bottles to the other man.
Before Bubbles disappeared to find Stefan, she shook her head and replied to Tyler's question. "No. I go to Stanbridge. They have a veterinary technician program there and it has a lot of hands-on stuff. I'm graduating this year, actually. It's an associate's degree, but it's still pretty amazing." Plus, she was going to get to do real work at the wildlife rehab place. Not just cleaning cages.
But as she peeked in to see Stefan, she accepted the veggie tray, noticing the slight waver of Stefan's smile. She wanted to ask him about it, but then they were walking back into the other room, so she just shot him a concerned look and walked into the room. "I hope everyone likes veggies."
Just smirking at Tylerâs look, Blossom gave his shoulder a bump with her own, because yes, Bubbles was always that bubbly, it was definitely part of Bubblesâ charm. âBubbles is going to save the world, one animal at a time.â Sometimes animals were better than people, and Bubbles was the best with animals.
Technically, this was Blossomâs first time meeting Stefan. And it was probably a strange way to meet with your current girlfriendâs sister, but that was the awkward joys of double dates. âOh, if theyâre your specialities, Iâm sure theyâll be awesome.â Blossom always made a point in chowing down on Bubblesâ veggies, healthy and saving from chomping on animals.
When Stefan approached him, Tyler stiffened slightly. He looked warily, first at Stefan, then at the bottle. It took less than a second before he took the bottle with a âthanks,â evidently deciding that Stefan wasnât about to attack him for nearly killing him. âI brought some beer too. I can put it in the fridge before we hit the hot tub.â
âCongrats on nearly graduating,â Tyler said, turning his gaze from Stefan to Bubbles with a smile. âVet tech, huh? Sounds hard.â He took a couple of celery sticks. Heâd always been a fan of meat, and that seemed to increase after his dreams had turned him into a werewolf, but he wasnât going to complain when sheâd obviously put some work into the veggie tray. Besides, he wanted to make a good impression on Blossomâs family, not offend them by telling the animal lover how much he loved to eat animals.
Things were likely to be awkward between Stefan and Tyler for a little bit. Stefan was cool, though. This was okay. He was angry, though his anger wasn't directed at Tyler. He was angry at the system that'd shoved the pair of them together. Poor Tyler had enough shit to deal with--transforming to the wolf looked incredibly painful, and Stefan had learned as much from other werewolves, even though he didn't have any personal experience. He passed the beer over, and gave a nod. "Sounds good." Then he attempted something of a smile. It was his way of saying, Bygones?
Then Stefan moved over to sit down. There was a sofa in the living room, and a couple of fairly comfortable arm chairs. He took one of them, sitting back and relaxing as much as he could. He didn't want to be tense. But he was. Just a bit. "It helps when you're as amazing with Animals as Bubbles is," he offered up, giving her a proud and much more genuine smile as he reached for his girlfriend's hand.
Bubbles was happy that everyone took some of the veggies. She was always worried that she'd seem like some stranger. She wouldn't deny them their hamburgers later, but she had other things ready for herself, so that was what mattered. But no one seemed to mind eating them, so she stole a few things for herself. She watched Tyler and Stefan for a moment, not entirely sure what the strange looks between them were about, but she shrugged it off, assuming she was just reading into things that weren't actually meaningful. "Thank you, Tyler. Yes. It's not like being a vet, naturally, but it's still helping the vet with everything."
When she felt the tips of Stefan's fingers, her hand instinctively reached back so she could take his hand. "He and Blossom are very complimentary when it comes to me and my work with animals. It does help that I can talk to them now, though. I try not to make it obvious that I can understand them, but it's kind of hard to explain how I know what's wrong with them without explaining that I can talk to them." She shrugged. It only added to her anti-animal eating feelings. She had been against it before, but now it was possible that her food could talk to her before it died and became her food and that was just sad. Especially when she might know their whole history and about family members. It wouldn't do. "I'm hoping I'll get to talk to an elephant one day. I'd love to know everything it's seen. Preferably one in the wild, though. I think the animals at the zoo would feel very sad. There's not very much room to run around and they like to have more room than they usually do there. Or so I've heard."
Bubbles and her bleeding heart for all creatures great and small would likely be the end of Blossom one day, between her talking to animals and just adoring them, Blossom often felt like a monster just because she could not quit bacon. She loved the crunchy yummy fried pig just too much. Bubbles was understanding enough that she never preached at Blossom about it, Bubbles wasnât that sort of vegetarian, but it was still a little iffy because Blossom and her guilt.
âBubbles is just being modest.â Blossom decided to mirror Stefanâs attempt to not look so stiff. She half wondered if it was because of the awkward double date or if Stefan and Tyler had history too. Like Caroline and Tyler (it might make sense considering Tyler and Caroline went to high school together, but Blossom would ask later). Sitting herself down, making sure that Tyler would have plenty of space beside her, Blossom crunched her way through some carrots and celery happily.
âI think talking to animals has to be one of the coolest powers Iâve heard so far,â a lot of people had some crazy super powers going on, especially on the network, but animals, well. Blossom sort of envied that aspect of Bubblesâ powers. âNot that you guys donât have super cool powers.â Bubbles was just cooler.
Tyler returned Stefanâs smile with a quick one of his own - really, it was just the corners of his mouth curling up slightly. He still felt guilty about the whole nearly killing Stefan thing, but at least the other man really was willing to let things go, and that his texts hadnât been full of it.
Tyler sat down behind Blossom and slung his arm over her shoulder, pulling her closer to him. âYou can talk to animals?â he exclaimed, shocked. For a brief moment he wondered if she could talk to him when he was a wolf. He quickly ignored the thought. Even if she couldnât, he couldnât ask to put her in that kind of danger. He and Stefan might be okayish, but Stefan and Blossom both would probably kill him if something happened to Bubbles. He couldnât help but chuckle at Blossomâs comment. âIâm not sure if âsuper coolâ is the term Iâd use to describe my powers,â he said, smiling as he planted a kiss on her head.
âNo, Iâm pretty sure âsuper coolâ is a fairly bad term when describing my powers.â Stefan agreed with Tyler. He gave Bubbles hand a gentle squeeze, then released it so he could wrap both of his hands around the bottle he was holding. âYou girls have far better powers than we do. Though⊠at the same timeâŠâ He couldnât help but smirk a little as he lifted his eyes to Bubbles. âI do wonder who would win in an arm wrestling match.â
Bubbles felt her face heat up and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She personally thought talking to animals was the best thing that had happened to her life because she liked talking to animals. Animals were her favorite things. She probably liked them more than most people, but that didn't stop her from having a lot of people for friends. "It's just talking to animals, but yes. I can talk to them. I have been practicing talking to them at work and when we have to work with them at school. Also I have to pretend I can't talk to them when other people are around. Mostly because I don't want people to think I'm crazy." She looked at Tyler and Stefan for a moment, wondering exactly what Tyler's powers were. "You have powers, too?" She glanced at Stefan. "We can't help having super amazing powers. We're just that awesome." She paused, thinking about the response to Stefan's pondering. "Ummm...Probably me, but only because you'd let me. Unless you wouldn't. Then we might have to test it."
Settling back, more than happy to press her side along Tylerâs with a grin, Blossom just smirked at Bubblesâ attempt to not to overly confident, âBubbles would so totally win.â For all that she was the unassuming one of the three sisters, she was the one that everyone underestimated. She was just as fast and strong and hardcore as the other two, but people often just thought she was the docile sweetheart.
âAnd your powers are pretty cool,â aside from the whole pain and dangerous thing, âI mean, theyâre totally cooler than just reading minds.â Which was overdone and lame. âIâm sure that once you figure them out a little better, youâll think so too.â Blossom wasnât about to let Tyler think there was anything wrong with being a werewolf after all. She just gave his leg a soft rub in encouragement, unwilling to just blatantly tell Bubblesâ that her boyfriend was a werewolf, but sure that Bubbles would understand should Tyler want to tell her.
âI think trying not to sound crazy is the one thing all us dreamers have in common,â Tyler laughed. The talk of arm wrestling made Tyler thing back to his dreams, of Uncle Mason and Stefan having an arm wrestling contest, and of Stefan being defeated. Of how Stefan and the other vampires had killed his uncle. He wasnât angry about that here - why should he be? Mason was off surfing in Florida right now, living life, not worrying about being a vampire or being dead - but it took him a moment to remind himself of that.
âIâm a werewolf,â he said, his smile fading a little. There was no point in keeping it from Bubbles - every else in the room already knew it and it wasnât like anyone else was keeping a lid on their powers. âOutside of the change once a month, I guess itâs not so bad. But Iâm never going to get used to that transformation.â Stefan had seen it, so he knew. Part of Tyler was hoping Blossom would never have to, though a small part of him hoped that after she got her powers sheâd be able to sit with him during the worst of it.
Stefan nodded, a little darkly. After all, Tylerâs powers nearly killed him. Talking about this was a little depressing. He brought his hand over to rest on Bubblesâ knee again, feeling her warmth under his palm. It was reassuring. âI should go get the meat on the grill,â he thought aloud. Then his eyes met Tylerâs. Maybe they could leave the girls inside for a moment, go out to the barbeque, and talk. He felt like the two of them needed a quick word outside; a chance to discuss⊠well, everything. That hadnât been said in glances, anyway. âYou want to give me a hand?â
"Well, I do have super strength in my favor now." She laughed at that. She'd been an accidental danger since then, but little things like arm wrestling weren't the things she thought about. She could remember lifting cars in her dreams and throwing Stormtroopers during the invasion. "Reading minds would probably be really weird." Bubbles didn't know that she wanted to be able to read minds. It sounded noisy.
The mention of the werewolf thing did make her pause and she looked at Tyler for a long moment. It wasn't that she was surprised that werewolves existed. After what happened with Stefan, it wasn't actually very surprising. It was just that he was a werewolf and a werewolf had bit Stefan. She glanced toward Stefan for a moment, feeling the hand on her knee. "We'll have to wait on Buttercup to see if she ends up with a supernatural being, too." Stefan seemed a little off, but he also probably wasn't lying. He probably did have to go out to the grill. "Don't blow anything up while you're out there." She leaned over to press a quick kiss to Stefan's cheek, her voice lowered as she asked, "You okay?" Just in case.
Blossom just gripped Tylerâs hand tightly, her own support for his change that comes around, because sheâd be there to stick by him whenever he needed a little pep up about this werewolf thing. She didnât want him thinking worse of himself over something he had no control over at all.
âMen grilling things,â because even Blossom was pretty sure that while Stefan probably needed to cook up the food, he probably didnât need help doing it. Men were much less subtle about these things than females it seemed. âBubs and I can polish off the veggies for sure.â And maybe they could catch a quick check in on things too.
The look Bubbles was giving him made him vaguely uncomfortable. Of course Bubbles would have known that Stefan had been bitten by a werewolf, and how many of those could really be around? Tyler knew of three of them, but none of their wolvish traits had carried over to this world yet. Tyler hadnât exactly mentioned biting Stefan to Blossom yet. How did someone even bring that up? âSorry for standing you up, Blossom. I turned into a werewolf and almost killed someone I went to highschool with.â It didnât seem like a good segway into asking for another date.
âWell, weâve got vampire and werewolf already here. Whatâd be left for Buttercup? A wizard, maybe?â In his dreams, those were the only three that Tyler already knew about. That and Elena, the doppelganger. He returned Blossomâs hand squeeze, and then brought her hand up to his lips so he could kiss her knuckles. âYeah, I can give you a hand,â he said, turning his attention back to Stefan and releasing Blossomâs hand so he could stand up.
Stefan closed his eyes and nuzzled his head against Bubblesâ for just a second. âYeah. Iâm all right.â Then he stood, gave her arm an affectionate squeeze, and turned to lead Tyler outside to where the grill was going. They passed through the kitchen and picked up plates of food along the way--veggie burgers and veggie kabobs for Bubbles, and regular burgers and hot dogs for the rest. âYou doing okay?â Stefan asked, turning his attention to Tyler once they were outside and out of earshot of the girls.
Bubbles nodded in agreement about the veggies. They could definitely polish them off. It was strange how much extra strength made your hunger shoot up...mixed with the fact that she already ate a ridiculous amount. She decided not to mention anything about the Stefan thing for the moment because it wasn't for her to talk to Blossom about it and she didn't even know if Tyler was the one that had bitten him. She didn't know who had. She just knew that Stefan had been bitten by a werewolf and Tyler was a werewolf.
There was a hint of a laugh and Bubbles looked down at the ground when Tyler mentioned a wizard. "I don't know that a wizard is really the way that she'd go. I'd say more like a witch. A mermaid? Something like that. Sorceress, maybe." The point was that Buttercup definitely preferred girls to boys, but she guessed most people figured on boys first. It's just that Buttercup had been pretty upfront with her and Blossom about that. It wasn't really a big deal. Now both of the boys would know. "So if you find any of those looking for a girl that enjoys punching things, you should let us know."
Stefan's words made her relax a little. He was good. If it changed, she'd be there, though. She watched them as they left and then looked over at Blossom. "I wonder what they've got to talk about."
Blossom was a little curious about that too, what they might have to talk about -considering the mild awkwardness from that little departure. But maybe it was nothing, or maybe it was something. âIâm sure theyâll tell us later.â If they wanted to, of course. She wasnât sure how Stefan and Bubbles were, although Blossom knew that Bubbles and âsecretsâ werenât really a big thing, at least not among the sisters really, but she was sort of done butting into Bubblesâ relationship at least.
Tyler would tell her if it was important, if it was anything to worry about, she was sure. âSo⊠You two are so cosy. Youâre really into him, arenât you?â Which was cute, and since it didnât look like he was closed off and cold and distant like Blossomâs over active mind conjured up when thinking about vampires, she could even say with with a warm smile, focusing on Bubbles and resolutely not trying to eavesdrop on the boys.
âIâm not the one who nearly died,â Tyler said, taking a couple of the burgers and throwing them on the grill. âAre you okay?â He hadnât asked the question yet, not since it had happened, and now he was vaguely embarrassed about it. Especially with Stefan asking first when there really wasnât like anything had happened to Tyler. âAbout me being here, I mean. I didnât know Blossomâs sisterâs boyfriend was you.â
âI had no idea Bubblesâ sisterâs boyfriend was you,â Stefan replied in turn. âListen, I know it wasnât your fault. Isnât. Itâs not up to us what Orange County is going to do to us. Just⊠donât come around during the full moon, and I think weâll be fine.â There were so many things Stefan had imagined saying to Tyler about his experience--so many things heâd thought he might want to say. But now that he was here face to face with Tyler, all of those things felt selfish and petty. Heâd had a rough time of it, sure. But Tyler had, too. And it was neither of their faults. If they couldnât support one another, what was the point?
âYeah, Iâve got somewhere a little more secure to go when it happens now,â Tyler said. âUp in the mountains. Caroline came to help out this month again.â Tyler hadnât wanted her to, but there was no stopping her when she had her mind sent on something, and he shot Stefan a wry smile to show exactly what his thoughts were on the matter. âSo just, donât go on any mountain hikes on the full moon and youâll probably be okay.â
Oh, yeah. Stefan definitely knew about Caroline and her stubbornness. He smirked in return. âSounds good. Iâm pretty sure I can refrain from mountain hikes one night a month.â He poked at the food on the grill, and everything seemed to be cooked through. âLetâs go feed our women.â He added, playfully, as he scooped all the meats and veggie burgers off the grill. (Stefan was considerate, and made sure that the grill was cleaned thoroughly before putting the veggie burgers on, and heâd kept them separate from the carnivore food--to avoid cross contamination.)
If Blossom was sure they'd mention it later, Bubbles was sure they would. At least if Stefan thought there was anything worth telling. She'd make sure that he was okay again later. Maybe after everything was over and they were cleaning up. If it wasn't anything, then she wouldn't stress herself over it too much. There was no reason for it.
When the subject changed, Bubbles felt her face heat up, a blush working its way across her face. "He's pretty good at the whole vampire boyfriend thing. He's very gentlemanly. With opening doors and everything." She hadn't really expected it considering it was the rare person who held the door open for you normally. It was a nice surprise, though. "...I do really like him, though." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "You seem to be really cosy with Tyler, too. He seems really nice."
Usually the only people holding doors open were getting paid for it, and even then they always looked exceptionally put out by it. So at least Stefan had that going for him, because Bubbles deserved a guy that would open doors for her. âYou guys are kinda cute together, I will say that.â And she did mean it in the nicest way from one sister to another.
âHe is really nice,â and Blossom tried not to sound too surprised about that, âHonestly? I sort thought heâd be like⊠you know, not? Cause heâs like a jock and his dad is all powerful and influential, and I totally feel bad but I kinda thought he might be one of those rich kid types?â Sheâd been worried on their date, when the dance had sucked, and when he stood her up because of the full moon thing, sheâd instantly just figured it was just because he was a jerk.
