Reggie still isn't sold on California. He doesn't like all the strange talk on the network. He likes things to be the way they should be, none of this ... Whatever the hell it is. And mostly he doesn't like the way it may effect Ronnie. Ronnie's too easily stimulated for all this. But Reggie's made a commitment and a promise, and he doesn't go back on those things, so here he is. Walking through the club that he hopes will be as successful as all the others.
It's coming along quite nicely, really. They have some connections that have pointed them in the direction of reliable workers, contractors who know better than to fall behind schedule and put in costs that aren't expressly agreed upon first. The sound of the work is giving him a headache, though (or maybe the stress of it all is), so he steps outside to light up a cigarette.
