Who: Chloe and Liv
What: Girl's night out with a somewhat grumpy sex deprived Liv
Where: Local club
When: Last Saturday
Rating: Pretty low. Mentions of brains and zombies, the usual.
Status: Complete
Liv was in need of a girls’ night out. No boys, well she’d probably see some guys. Probably even flirt with them. But that was as far as it good go. She had just learned from her dreams that sex was a no-go for her. Unless it was with another zombie, which Orange County seemed to be lacking those. Good thing she hadn’t slept with Hades the other night.
Liv dragged Chloe out to a club. Not that Chloe had much objection but it had been all Liv’s idea. “I need a drink,” she told Chloe as they walked inside. “A strong one.” With lots of jalapeños.
Apparently going out was something that Chloe was good for. Her social calendar had been a little occupied with Henry lately, so she was more than happy to meet up with her friends. She didn’t want to be one of those girls that lost herself in a new relationship and isolated herself from everyone. It was a good thing that she was still living with her bestie because her friend usually gave her a real life wakeup call when she needed it.
But for now all she was doing was thinking about how to have fun tonight. The comment was greeted with a chuckle and a nod, “I totally agree with you there. Let’s get to the bar.” She grabbed Liv’s wrist as they made their way through the crowd towards the bar on the side of the club.
Liv made her way to the bar with Chloe. Once they ordered their drinks she turned her attention to her friend. “So,” Liv asked. “I haven’t seen you much lately. Busy with work? Or something else,” she gave Chloe a suggestive wink.
“Ha, definitely something else,” Chloe commented as she waited for her drink and shook her head lightly, “Henry and I are quite happy together so far. We had a really great weekend together for Memorial Day. How about you? Any guys I should be interrogating for you?”
You go Chloe, Liv thought with a smirk. One of them should be getting laid. And Chloe was the one with the boyfriend. Not that you needed a boyfriend to get laid, but she was also the one who wouldn’t turn her plover into a zombie. “Not exactly,” she said playfully. And it was true. Hades was an almost one-night-stand. It was a good thing Liv had stopped it when she did though considering her most recent dreams. “I can’t have sex anyway. Unless you happen to know any zombies?” Other than herself of course.
Well, hopefully not that she knew of, right? She could raise the dead, so the last thing she wanted was to turn people into zombies. That would just be a little too much for Chloe. “And why can’t you have sex?” that was not a zombie rule that she was aware of and then she shook her head with a smirk, “And I don’t know any at the moment. Do you want me to reanimate someone for you? I could give it a try, but I don’t think they’d be as pristine as you seem to be.”
Yeah no thanks. Liv did not like the idea of sleeping with a reanimated corpse. That was just gross and definitely not the same kind of zombie she was. “I’m gonna pass on that one,” Liv replied as the bartender brought over their drinks. Liv immediately picked hers up taking a long gulp of the spicy alcohol. “Zombieism in my dreams is a virus. And it can be transmitted through sex.” At least according to her latest dream. She sighed taking another gulp of her drink. The thought of never getting laid again? It was enough to drive a girl crazy, or at least to consume lots of alcohol.
“Well, that’s not good. Wait, does that mean you get a sex drive while being a zombie? Sounds like something weird from Twilight,” Chloe mused aloud, but she was more than happy that Liv was going to pass on having her reanimate someone for her. She honestly didn’t know if that would even work and it would be so incredibly gross. She suppressed a shudder as she took a long sip of her drink.
Of course Liv had a sex drive. It didn’t go away even if she was undead or whatever. “Please don’t compare me to Twilight,” Liv replied with a small smile. But really she was nothing like those vampires. Or like a vampire at all. “But yeah I still have one. It didn’t disappear.” That would make things easier but would also be a horrible way to live.
“Well, I’m sure you’ll get something figured out. I wish I could be more of a help, but the only thing I can do is raise the dead and you don’t want that,” Chloe really had no answer for that one, but she felt bad for her friend. It had to suck to be turned into zombie period and even worse to deal with everything that didn’t change - like her sex drive, “Alright, that just means you need extra drinks tonight.”
“Definitely not.” She had a feeling a reanimated corpse was nothing like her. Despite the fact that they were apparently called zombies in Chloe’s world. Weird the different forms but at least Chloe had them and wasn’t scared of Liv or anything. “I’m going to need a hell of a lot of drinks to make this better.”
“So, do we want to find you a guy to dance up on or is this strictly girl night? Because I’m not going to dance with anyone,” Chloe commented with a smile as she tried to get the bartender’s attention to order another round just for poor Liv so she would be set for at least a little bit of the evening when it came to drinks. Even if she wasn’t going to dance with anyone she could play wingwoman and just speak to another guy.
“Right, the boyfriend.” Liv finished off her drink just as the bartender came over to get them another round thanks to Chloe waving him down. “I don’t know,” she replied honestly. She wanted to dance, was itching to actually. But what was the point? “We could always just dance with each other.” That was always fun too. Who needed boys?
“True,” Chloe countered with a smile as the bartender brought the second round with a wink and Chloe handed Liv’s drink over to her, “Here you go. Do you want one more round or get out onto the dance floor?” Chloe liked the idea of dancing with Liv and just having a good night the two of them. She didn’t doubt that guys would come and bother them, but they were strong enough to tell them to back off.
“We’ll finish this round and then hit the dance floor,” Liv said perking up now. Tonight was going to be a good night, she could feel it.
