Abigail and Bast
Bast wasn't really the shy sort of person. She was working security detail again these days given her previous employers had moved on. It was the way of things. Job security was only a given when you had the time to prove yourself and she hadn't really had to do anything, so when the option of going to the beach came up, Bast decided it was a simple way to meet people and get out of the house.
Muffin had not been overly pleased by the idea of her leaving and she supposed she understood that. Bast loved spending time with Muffin and every other cat that came up to her and swarmed her as she went about her day recently. She was honestly surprised she hadn't been followed by a small gathering of cats to the party.
She was wearing a light pink two piece, but she'd put short, flowy dress over top. Which meant that when she noticed a girl standing off to the side and looking slightly anxious, she made her way over and offered a smile. "Hello, kitten." It was a habit. Perhaps a bad one, but she couldn't help herself. Kitten was her blanket nickname. "Do you know any of the people here? I have to admit, I'm a little lost."
