Who: Lara and Bo
What: Bo gives Lara flowers and FINALLY setting a time for moving in.
When: Earlier this month
Where: Soon-to-be-their home
Warnings: Hard R for sexual content
After having lunch with Rey, Bo did indeed stop to buy some flowers for Lara. She was in a very sappy mood currently, and she wanted Lara to know how much she meant to her. Sometimes she felt like she took her for granted or didn’t tell Lara those sorts of things enough. So, it was time to do that.
A bouquet of red roses purchased, Bo headed back to Lara’s, which was feeling more and more like home of late. Though it would actually be home if she just moved the rest of the way in. Grabbing the flowers, she headed inside, holding the flowers behind her back.
“Lara?” She called out, wondering where she was.
The last thing Lara expected was flowers. Or really any kind of gift. While she occasionally surprised Bo with chocolates, she had yet to really do anything super romantic. Though she was considering the Welsh spoon thing. But that would mean things were super serious.
Lara was in the gym, working out on the bars, arms bulging and sweat making her skin glisten. “I’m in here!”
Hearing Lara, she headed into the gym. And of course seeing Lara working out and those muscles of hers bulging made Bo swallow hard. God she loved those muscles and she could watch Lara workout for hours. A passing thought of seeing if Lara could bench press her one day crossed her mind. But then she remembered the flowers in her hand that were still hidden behind her back.
“I brought you something,” she said, a smile crossing her face. She hoped that Lara would like the flowers.
She probably could, Bo didn’t really weigh all that much in the grand scheme of things. Lara was mid-chinup, and she hovered there for a moment before dropping down and grabbing a towel. A tired smile on her face, she crossed the distance to her girlfriend. Conscious of her grubby, sweaty state, she didn’t immediately embrace her. “You brought me something?”
Bo really didn’t mind the sweaty state. However, considering the flowers she had, she wasn’t minding the fact that they weren’t going to be accidentally crushed or anything. A smile crossed her face. “Yeah. I wanted to get you a little something, and tell you how much you mean to me.” And with that, she pulled the roses out from behind her back and presented them to Lara.
It was such a sweet, endearing gesture that Lara found herself floating a little in delight. She swallowed, and took the flowers. “That’s so sweet, Bo! You really didn’t need to do anything like this.” Lara had no idea what to do. No one had ever gotten her flowers before.
“I wanted to because I love you. And I want you to know that I don’t take you for granted.” Not that she thought that was what Lara thought, but Bo wanted to do something special and nice for her like this to show it.
She started to lean in for a kiss, then stopped herself. “I’m rather gunky right now.”
“I don’t mind gunky.” She responded with a smile. If she’d minded, she probably would’ve waited until after Lara was done working out and the like before giving her the flowers.
“Good.” She hugged Bo tightly, giving her a warm and somewhat flustered kiss. Was there an occasion? Or had Bo just decided to get her flowers? She broke the kiss but didn’t let go. “And here I was missing you.”
Bo returned the hug and the kiss. She smiled warmly, lightly rubbing Lara’s back with one hand once the kiss was broken. “You don’t have to miss me anymore because here I am.” And she’d call the lunch successful. Bo seemed to have made a new friend, which only cemented the fact she was growing roots here and couldn’t just up and leave without people going with her.
“How was your lunch?” Lara had no reason to be jealous, and she didn’t particularly feel that way. But it took a lot to trigger that part of her personality, and for now she didn’t feel threatened.
“It went well, I think. I didn’t make an ass out of myself, at least.” Bo said with a chuckle. “I think I made a new friend, at least.” Lara had nothing to be jealous of. All that Bo felt towards Rey was friendship. Though there was a sense of familiarity to it as well, though currently she was chalking it up to the whole being alone aspect they both knew.
“Good. Not that I thought you’d make an arse of yourself.” Lara slipped out of Bo’s grasp so she could do something about the roses. She sniffed them and got a stupid grin on her face.
“I’ve been known to do so on occasion,” Bo said with a chuckle. Seeing that stupid grin cross Lara’s face made Bo grin fondly. Clearly Lara liked the flowers. And only now did it occur to her that this was the first time she’d ever given flowers to someone. It made her feel good to have put a smile on Lara’s face like that.
She found a vase (it was nearly two hundred years old), filled it with water and carefully put the flowers inside. She found a spot for it in the library where she could see it from her desk, placing the vase as though she were handling a much older and rarer artifact. “There. Prime spot.”
Bo watched the way that Lara placed the vase, and she smiled. It was like she was handling a priceless antique. Which, considering Lara’s profession and the things in this house, it probably was a priceless antique. There was good reason Bo tried to be aware of where she was walking and what her limbs were doing in the house as she didn’t want to accidentally break something.
Coming up behind Lara, she set her chin on her shoulder, looking at the flowers. “I think it’s perfect.” She then pressed a kiss to Lara’s cheek.
“Mm,” she leaned back against Bo, and chewed on her lip. “There’s something I want to discuss. Well we’ve discussed it but then we didn’t do anything about it.”
Bo slid her arms around Lara’s middle snugly, taking a moment to just enjoy holding her. Then at Lara’s statement, Bo knew exactly what she wanted to talk about. “About moving in?” She wasn’t exactly avoiding the topic, she was more avoiding the sadness of Kenzi not wanting to move in as well.
“Yes.” She didn’t try to turn around, content to remain in this position. She’d come to depend on and revel in Bo’s proximity. In truth she’d always been physically close with Sam and she’d missed that. The added romantic dimension with Bo (and yes, certain other things that made her blush to think about) only made her enjoy it more.
It was probably an understatement that Bo tended to crave physical contact. Despite her rather colored sexual history, she’d never let herself be this close with someone before. At least not one she was romantically interested in. Kenzi got lots of hugs and cuddles from her, but Kenzi was just a friend, a sister, really. She enjoyed just holding Lara.
“We do have some things to talk about there. Should we rent a truck to move the furniture that’s coming here?” Lara’s Rover may be on the bigger side, but Bo doubted her couch could actually fit in it. Among other things. Also she was totally avoiding the Kenzi part of it. She just needed to stop sulking and pull on her big girl panties about it.
“We can rent a lorrie, I want you to take everything you want. We’ll find a place for it.” If Bo was going to move in she wanted her to feel welcome, like she was actually at home. Plant roots. You couldn’t do that without a space of your own.
She knew Bo was disappointed about Kenzi. They’d talked about that in texts, but it felt like it was weighing over them. Still, it was up to Bo to bring it up.
“A lorrie?” Now, Bo was getting better at deciphering British English, but she still was clueless on the meaning of some words. One day she wouldn’t need to ask Lara what she meant by things, but today was not that day.
“I can probably sell some of the things. Like my tv and coffee table.” She didn’t really need a tv here or a coffee table. Her bed could occupy a spare bedroom. Her couch...would probably be best in the garage or a dumpster. When it came down to it, she really didn’t have much in the way of things. Clothes made up most of her possessions. It was easier to run from city to city when she didn’t have a ton of furniture that needed to be moved with her.
“Only if you want to.” Lara finally turned around to face Bo. “I don’t want you to give up all your things.” She didn’t like the thought, but what if they broke up? “There’s plenty of room to store what you want to keep.”
“I don’t exactly have much attachments to my things. Other than my car, and the bed is being kept since it’s new and all, everything else is kind of redundant or things I should get rid of.” Bo wasn’t exactly thinking of the potential for a break up. She definitely lived in the here and now.
“If you’re sure. We can find homes for them, or people who might need them.” It wasn’t worth arguing over, if Bo seemed so certain about it. It wasn’t like Bo didn’t spend a lot of time here anyway. But actually having her every morning. Waking up and rolling over to see her there. Or walking into the kitchen to make tea.
Okay Lara started feeling giddy and it was stupid but it was how she felt.
It was probably odd how Bo didn’t exactly have attachments to her possessions. But when she’d gotten most of them used, and some of them had been more than a little used, it was time to let them go. Some could get reused by people who had better uses for them. As it was, they were mostly taking up space in Bo’s tiny crackshak of an apartment.
“Though you know what we could do? Considering I got my trunk of weapons, maybe we could find a better storage method for them? Like one of those cool hidden-in-the-wall things.” She suggested with a grin. Of course, how practical that would be to actually build one of those into one of the rooms here was another matter entirely. But Bo had an attachment to her weapons, and the suggestion showed that she was thinking of how to put her things in here. It wasn’t just her getting rid of her stuff. She was trying to find places for the things she wanted to keep.
It wasn’t too odd. Despite all the things in Lara’s possession there were precious few things she could live without. Historical curiosities weren’t generally one of them, and anything super rare she’d prefer to see in it’s home country’s museum. With perhaps one or two dangerous exceptions.
Some day she really should show Bo what she found in Malaysia. Maybe with her exposure to magic she’d have an idea on it.
“I actually have several fun safes, there’s room. And some of the cooler looking weapons could be mounted for display.” She hesitated, then added. “With an easy way to grab them in a crisis.”
“That would be awesome. And yeah, I was going to keep the ones I tend to use the most somewhere for easy access.” That wasn’t counting the Siracon which she carried with her any time she went outside or her thigh dagger. But one of the swords, possibly an axe and some throwing stars would be good for easy access. A variety because one never knew what shit Orange County would be throwing at them. “But the others can go in the fun safes unless I need or want them at some point.”
And the variety would undoubtedly look good on the mansion walls or on display too. Having ease of access to weapons made Lara feel more at ease, on top of it. While she’d… gone through some severe paranoia to the point where she’d locked her guns away for her own safety, she still liked having her bow and other weapons around. “Sounds fair.”
“Now, this may be pushing it, but what about a secret fridge or freezer in the bedroom? You know, for emergency chocolate needs?” Bo asked, though she was teasing. Mostly. She didn’t need chocolate first thing in the morning, and she could very well just go downstairs to the kitchen to get things. But on the days where she and Lara spent the entire day in bed, having sugar easily accessible without going too far might not be a terrible idea.
“Do you really want an infernal humming while we’re trying to sleep?” Lara asked. It was probably her main objection to the idea. And if Bo really needed chocolate she could go downstairs and not be lazy. She poked Bo teasingly. “I’m not sure the trade-off is worth it.”
She laughed when Lara poked her. “No, I don’t. Besides, I like the only noises in the room coming from us or the cats.” Bo said. “Besides, I’ve got two legs and I can walk.” So long as she wasn’t severely wounded, of course. But that was another matter entirely.
Lara pretended she wasn’t turning red, and nodded. “Yes, exactly. No need to slack off, no matter how much of a workout I might give you.” Hey, she was getting the hang of the flirting.
A grin spread across Bo’s face. “You do give me a good workout. Perhaps one day I might actually put the gym to use.” She could tell Lara was finally getting the hang of flirting. Even if she was turning red, it was still progress being made.
“The gym is good for working on flagging muscles,” Lara teased, squeezing Bo’s biceps. “But the bedroom is for the cardio.” Okay they could do it in the gym but then Alistair might catch them. “When do you want to rent the lorrie?”
“With all the calories I eat, I don’t want to get pudgy,” she joked as Lara squeezed her biceps. They weren’t anywhere near as impressive as Lara’s, but Bo’s were nice all the same. “Perhaps in a week or two? It would give us time to go through and pack the rest of the stuff in my apartment so it can be ready to be moved when we have the lorrie.” Bo was getting better with the not doing everything herself, as her use of ‘we’ there was evidence of. Normally Bo would go about packing herself, but she knew that she could use the help. Even if she didn’t have all that much, having help would be nice.
Bo’s were very impressive, but Lara was biased. She grinned. “I’m glad that it’s a we, I really want to help you move. It might even be a little fun.” Like an expedition into the depth’s of Bo’s closet. She really appreciated that Bo was willing to let her help.
“It’s always easier having help, isn’t it?” Which Bo knew she wasn’t good at asking for, but she was making an effort to work on that shortcoming. “Though admit it, you just want to see the bottom of my closet and if I own anything that isn’t black or red.” She was teasing because she did have color in her wardrobe. It was just mostly black and lots of leather pants.
“Perhaps we’ll find some ancient artifact,” Lara teased. “Something that belongs in a museum.” She moved towards her chair behind her desk, and tugged Bo along. Lara didn’t typically like hanky panky in the library, but sometimes she made allowances for Bo being in her lap. Or vice versa.
“Like my first pair of leather pants that are perfectly formed to my ass?” She teased with a laugh. “Though somehow I feel those would only get a captive audience being on display here.” When Lara tugged her over to the chair, Bo took a seat on Lara’s lap, arms slipping around Lara’s neck.
“Uhm. Yes.” Lara rested her arms around Bo’s waist and looked up at her. Though it was hard to not be distracted by cleavage and boobs. “It would be a huge distraction. But you are a huge distraction.”
It was hard not to be distracted by Bo’s boobs, she had quite a lot of them and tended to always wear low cut tops to show them off. “If I had a middle name, it would probably be distraction.” She said with a smirk. That was the odd thing about Bo. She didn’t have a middle name.
It was tempting to reset her face in the boobs, but Lara had willpower. "Are you sure you're not Bo Breasts Dennis?"
It wasn't as though Lara lacked anything up top. She had quite an impressive rack, though smaller than certain versions of her dreams. She'd used to wear tank tops more often that showed them off more often, but after one comment too many from a bloke she'd had lunch with she'd just... stopped. And had never really thought about why.
“Curses! You discovered my secret name!” Bo said as she playfully poked Lara. Lara was certainly very well endowed herself, a fact that Bo was quite fond of. She liked using them as pillows when they were lounging or watching movies or television or snuggling. Lara was very comfy, after all.
If nothing else, Bo had helped Lara regain confidence in her body image and sexuality, though realizing she was a lesbian had been something that had happened before she'd met her. There were just precious few people in the world that Lara really felt attraction towards and there was only one that she knew of in the United States. And that woman was in her lap. "I promise I won't tell a soul."
“Good. It would cause a scandal if that got out.” It was more than nice to be able to share moments like this with someone. Even if Bo’s dreams were making her paranoid about her love life, but Lara wasn’t Dyson or Lauren. And those feelings had not crossed over from her dreams. She was Lara’s and only Lara’s. And that’s how she liked it.
Despite the fact people in her dreams kept reminding her she was a succubus and wasn’t monogamous by nature. But she’d said to hell with her nature long ago, and she would be monogamous with Lara.
Lara kissed Bo, sensing the direction that her thoughts were going and wanting to bring her to the here and now. Alistair was out, it was just the two of them and Lara’s fingers slipped into Bo’s shirt as she decided to take matters, and Bo’s middle name, into her own hands.
Bo returned the kiss and groaned a bit as Lara took her middle name into her own hand. She pressed into Lara’s touch, one hand moving to the back of Lara’s head and holding it close. This certainly did wonders for bringing Bo back to the present moment.
Was the door closed? The door was closed, so Lara removed Bo’s shirt. She leaned in and nibbled at Bo’s collar bone, glancing up and meeting her girlfriend’s eyes before she moved her lips towards Bo’s middle name.
Gazing down at Lara, she smiled. She groaned softly and tilted her head back as Lara nibbled at her collarbone, then worked her way down her chest. She did like the feel of it, and she always enjoyed Lara’s attention to her breasts. Her eyes shifted to blue as she felt her body starting to hum, waking up under her girlfriend’s touch.
Licking her lips, Lara felt her body respond to the blue in Bo's eyes. She didn't know if it was her own natural attraction or something that came to life as a result of Bo's powers (possibly both) but it didn't bother her. They'd fallen into bed with each other long before Bo had had powers, so she knew it was genuine. And sometimes the powers gave their love life a little extra spice.
Sometimes Bo seriously disliked having these powers, but she couldn’t exactly do anything about it. So instead, she just needed to go with it and try to keep it under control as best as she could. But she didn’t mind the perks that came with it, and the extra spice that was added to her and Lara’s love life. Sometimes the sparks of spice were incredibly fun. A sensation of fire in her skin began to spread from where Lara touched her, and it was a fire that would only grow hotter until she and Lara had sated themselves.
If someone had told her a year ago she’d be involved with anyone, let alone a busty drifter, she would have laughed. Yet here she was. Lara pulled Bo down into a kiss, the fire in her belly stoking higher and hotter. She loved this woman, more than she’d ever thought possible.
Similarly, if someone had told Bo a year ago that she’d be involved with someone, let alone an English heiress, she would’ve thought they were insane. But here she was, fully engrossed in her relationship with Lara and being in love with her more than she’d ever thought she could love someone. She showed her feelings in the kiss, hand pressing against Lara’s cheek, and the fire within her was spreading faster.
Fingers stroking along the curve of Bo’s breast, Lara deepened the kiss. She loved words, and languages, but the language they were sharing now was one of her particular favourites. She didn’t even have to stop them. It was her home, it was Bo’s home (or soon would be)....
Feeling daring, Lara suddenly upended Bo onto the desk and straddled her. She’d just have to feel mortified at using the hundred year old oak desk for this kind of activity later.
Bo squeaked a bit as Lara upended her onto the desk. She hadn’t expected the change of position, but she did welcome it. Gazing up at Lara, she smiled sensually at her, hands trailing down her sides, over her hips and along her legs. And then Bo decided Lara’s shirt needed to go, so she grabbed the bottom hem of it and pulled it off. The blue of her eyes seemed to grow a little more intense. Whether that actually happened or it was just a trick of the light was anyone’s guess. But the fact remained that Bo was incredibly turned on, and wanted all of Lara.
Lara wanted to give her all to Bo. She wanted all of Bo. She wanted a great deal of things right now and all of them had to do with the woman beneath her. She kissed her hard and needily, her skin feeling like it was on fire whereever it touched Bo’s. Lara broke the kiss and looked down at her. She wanted to say something dirty but she was...embarrassed.
Her hands slid along Lara’s skin, caressing it as she pulled her flush against her. She rolled her hips up against Lara’s, a groan escaping her at the force of the kiss and the heat that she could already feel radiating off of Lara. And when Lara broke the kiss, that was the first time that Bo really noticed her girlfriend’s aura. And it was positively radiating sex right now.
“I want you all over me,” Bo said after taking in the view of Lara. If Lara wasn’t quite ready to say something dirty, Bo was more than happy to do so herself.
Lara tried to sound sexy. She might have even succeed, voice husky and eyes heavy. “Beg for it.”
Oh hell. Oh. Hell. Those three words went right through Bo. It was probably a good thing Lara couldn’t see auras because Bo was certain hers just went off the scales in sexual energy. But she managed to gather some shreds of her wits about her. “Please, I need you all over me,” she begged.
Groaning, Lara kissed Bo’s neck, rubbing their bodies together in a way that was positively lewd. She even made sounds that were positively lewd, as with more strength than you’d think she had in her frame she all but ripped Bo’s jeans off. There was just too much cloth between them and once they were naked she reveled in the feeling of their skin together.
She suddenly slipped to her knees behind the desk, and kissed her way up Bo’s thigh.
The lewd rubbing and lewd sounds only turned Bo on even more. And she was making her own lewd sounds as well. She shivered in anticipation as Lara dropped down to her knees. “Lara,” she groaned breathlessly as she kissed her way up her thigh. Bo gazed down at her, her eyes still an intense blue.
Lara grinned up at her, pausing in her kissing and quirking her eyebrow as if taunting Bo. She just needed to lean in a little, flick her tongue out and she knew Bo would be at her mercy, but she was waiting. Wasn’t anticipation half the fun?
Anticipation was half of the fun indeed, but it didn’t stop Bo from whining a bit. It was almost like torture that Lara was so close she could feel her breath on her. But it also ramped up her desire that much more.
So close that Lara was breathing purposely just to push Bo to the edge of distraction and beyond. She relented after Bo started whining, moving her tongue with practiced ease and closing her eyes as she felt Bo’s muscles twitch. It didn’t matter what they did, or how they did it, but Lara loved doing it with Bo. Very few things were off limits as far as she was concerned, and something like this was so natural and fun that Lara quickly got really into it, raking her fingers down the outside of Bo’s legs before stroking two fingers along the muscle that joined hip and pelvis.
Bo let out a loud moan as she felt Lara’s tongue move like that. Her body twitched and shifted, her hips rolling under Lara’s touch. She loved the way that Lara drove her crazy, and she certainly didn’t try to minimize any of the sounds she was making. Bo wasn’t picky where they did it. In fact, Bo didn’t really have much regarding sex that she wouldn’t at least try. But she also didn’t want to jump from something like this into something like bondage nor would she ever try something like that without talking about it with Lara first. Though one thing Bo enjoyed was creativity in positions. And she was rather flexible, which she did like showing off when she could.
The more Bo moved and shifted, the more Lara enjoyed it. She moaned, shifting Bo's legs over her shoulders and trying to get better purchase. Lara was so turned on herself that she was squirming, but she was using both hands on her girlfriend, holding her in place and also teasing her with one hand while her tongue ran laps.
It was all really too much and before she could think better of it she climbed into the desk and straddled Bo's face. She doubted that Bo would mind all that much.
No, that was definitely something that Bo minded. She slid her hands up the outside of Lara’s thighs as she leaned up and let her own tongue begin to do laps of its own. Her fingers slid along Lara’s skin, shifting around to help tease Lara, her tongue moving expertly against Lara’s flesh.
“Oh fuck me,” Lara breathed, writhing her hips in response. She nearly lost herself in the moment before she remembered she’d been in the middle of something. She shifted around just enough to resume her own work on Bo, shuddering lightly as she did so. Lara moaned against Bo’s flesh, sending little vibrations as she did so.
If Bo didn’t have a face full of Lara at the moment, she would have responded by saying she was fucking her. As it was, she simply let her tongue and fingers say it for her. As Lara resumed work on her, she also moaned, sending the vibrations through Lara. Bo’s back arched off of the desk a bit, fingers briefly pressing tighter into Lara’s skin.
It was a new experience, one that Lara was more than willing to try again. She was muffled by Bo’s thighs, her body trembling with need and a quickly building fire in her stomach. Coming up for air, she gasped Bo’s name. She just needed a moment, just a moment. Oh god. Lara groaned then dove back in, thinking they really had to change positions next time.
It had been a while since Bo had 69ed with someone, so that made this even more enjoyable. She moaned, her body reacting to Lara with every touch and every stroke. The fire built up within her quickly, and she felt herself nearing an orgasm. She groaned out Lara’s name when she took a moment for some air.
The way Bo said her name was really all Lara needed to go over the edge. She buried her face between Bo’s legs as the orgasm rippled through her, determined to ignore it as long as possible and try to draw Bo’s out.
Bo continued her attentions on Lara, though slowed them down as her orgasm rolled through her. Then Lara hit a certain spot and Bo’s orgasm washed through her, a loud, long moan coming out of her.
For a second, Lara wondered if Bo could chi-suck her like this and what that would feel like, then felt embarrassed for the thought. She lifted her head again, only really having enough energy to rest her cheek on Bo’s thigh. “God…”
Bo rested her head back against the desk and took some slow breaths. Unable to help herself, she lightly trailed her fingers along Lara’s thigh, caressing it a bit. “That was...very wow,” she said, still a bit breathless.
Lara shivered, then started to laugh. Great big full belly laughs and it took her a moment before she had enough breath to respond. “Very wow?”
“Hey, don’t pick at my English when I have your sexy ass in my face,” Bo countered with a laugh and poked Lara’s hip. “Yes, it was very wow! Have I mentioned how much I love your tongue?”
Lara rolled onto her side, and nearly rolled off the desk. As it was, something poked her rump. She peered down at Bo’s face, chewing her lip a little pensively. “This wasn’t...too much was it?” It had been so wonderful but she’d lost herself in the moment and now look at them.
Once Lara rolled, Bo also rolled onto her side and shifted to rest her head against Lara’s hip. She smiled warmly up at her. “No, definitely not too much. I loved it. Did you?” Because that was important, knowing that Lara had enjoyed it as well. She was rather certain Lara had considering she’d been the one to upend her on the desk in the first place.
“It was amazing.” Her face was only turning redder. “I can’t believe I did that!” Maybe she could believe she’d done that but she’d never expected to do something like that. It was kind of blowing her mind.
Bo smiled warmly, fingers gently caressing Lara’s stomach. “It took me by surprise, but I like it when you surprise me. You know, so long as the surprises are good ones, like this one.” And she had to wonder if it was the succubus nature rubbing off on Lara. Or perhaps just the fact they were clearly comfortable with each other, much as the fact Bo was using Lara’s hip as a pillow suggested.
“Well, if you’re a good girl, maybe I’ll surprise you more often.” But she didn’t want to become predictable. Lara reached down to stroke Bo’s hair. “In the mean time, we should sneak up to the bedroom. This desk is not made for laying on.”
Her father was probably rolling over in his grave.
“I can be a very good girl,” she said with a grin. “No, I agree. It is not the most comfortable surface to lay on.” Bo turned her head to press a kiss to Lara’s hip before she reluctantly sat up. She had enjoyed the pillow she’d chosen, but they’d definitely be more comfortable in bed. She then stole a kiss from Lara before she slid off the desk and retrieved her clothes. She wouldn’t actually put them on unless Alistair had suddenly come back while they’d been otherwise occupied.
They were probably safe. God, Lara hoped he hadn’t come home during that, she’d never be able to look him in the eyes ago. But it appeared they were alone, and Lara wrapped her arms around Bo from behind and kissed her shoulder. “Why don’t we order in tonight?”
Bo smiled, leaning back into Lara’s embrace. “I like that idea. Give us more time to be lazy in bed.” Or to do more cardio in bed. “Or is there a need for a shower first?” Lara had been in the gym when she’d gotten home, after all. And Bo wasn’t opposed to sharing a shower with Lara, if she was up for it.
“...Shower first,” Lara said. After all, they had all day, and they were both probably due a lazy one.
