Jack's thoughts drifted a little as the whiskey seemed to gently wash over his mind. Not drunk, just enjoying the buzz, it only took him a moment to grasp what the bubbly young woman was saying. "Hmm, oh you can start tomorrow night if ya like. The weekdays are pretty chill, so you'll be able to ease into shit round here...which is better then having ya just start on Friday night." He chuckled to himself for a second as Jack recalled the shit that he went through when he first started out...like starting on one of the busiest weekends.
The young man wasn't really known for his generous nature, but when it came to his staff, well they were the closest thing to family he had ever had. So just like the owner before him, Jack made sure to take care of the people who worked there. If it meant free meals, the occasional lift, or padding their tips when business was slow...well that is just what he did. Oh the young woman sitting across from him may not have technically fallen into the family category yet, but he dug her enthusiasm and actually found himself hoping that she'd last long at the bar.
"No problem. Regardless of what else you go with, i'd really recommend ordering a side of the cheesy chili fries. They are fucking good, and if ya ask nicely the waitress may see about having some fresh bacon crumbled on em for you." Another drag of smoke and a pause to pour one more shot took place before he gazed back at her. The question of hers was a smart one, but sadly his brain wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders just then. Still he strained for a moment before finally just offering up a shrug.
"Probably just need some ID or something for the paperwork. Aside from that...oh! Get those gel things, for your shoes. Swear to god they make a huge difference, since you'll spend most of the shift up and on your feet. Aside from that, the girls can probably give you a better answer than I can...but trust me on the gel things!"
