The music was pretty different, not bad or anything, just kind of vintage really. Or whatever you called old music that was still good. Yuffie wasn't sure what the word for it was. But it was sorta cool, in that kind of off the usual way that Yuffie really wasn't used to but kind of liked too. It wasn't nice. That didn't seem like the word, it was... It was cool. That's what it was.
"Why's it called a dive then?" She mostly wondered to herself, since wouldn't that be like it was bad? Probably so that shady people got that they could hang out there or something, but no one around there looked super shady anyway.
Someone asked her what she wanted to drinking, eyeing the stamp on her hand but Yuffie figured that they'd just scoff at her if she tried to hide it anyway. She doubted they'd do any of those virgin cocktail things that she'd tried at that 80's bar she'd gone to with her classmates last month for Alex's birthday though. "Just a soda!" And she felt like she needed to yell over the music, but clearly not. "Um sorry. Hey! Are you guys like... looking for staff or anything? Like just... Like any jobs even, just like... even a cleaner?" Although... did they clean places like this beyond a sweep of the floor and wash down of the bar?
That of course got her another strange look, but Yuffie just beamed brightly as her soda was produced, handing over her money while she was pointed towards someone down the ways at a table. Okay! Friendly people.
