"Weeeeeeell," Kitty said, brushing hair behind her ear and biting on her lip. "In my main dream reality, there was a Gwen Stacey who was killed by a supervillain. In one of the other realities, there was a rebellious blonde girl named Gwen Stacey, who was friends with this guy I dated."
She'd died there too eventually, but Kitty declined to mention that part. That particular set of dreams had been a crap-sack world where mutants were concerned. Not as bad as the Age of Apocalypse, but still pretty bad. "It's not super common to meet people from the same dreams. There are several who I know of. People who dream of a different reality from mine but exist in one or more of mine." Such as Tony Stark. "But there is a small collection from mine. Myself, my mentor and his daughter, a couple of our friends. An ex-boyfriend. My late wife. Most of us with powers of some sort."
And Peter Parker too. But Kitty wasn't willing to 'out' him yet, anyway. Not until he'd dreamed or given some indication he was curious about it.
