"I thought about it. This girl on the network offered to help me out if I could get to her but people were getting lost in the fog. And there was creepy shit in it. As creeped out as I was in my house - it felt a little bit safer. Especially since everytime I stepped out of my door my phone quit working." Vanessa told him simply. "Apparently the fog was from somebody's creepy Dreams. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that all of this was either." She hadn't been watching the network as closely as she probably should have been with this stuff going on. She was going to have to work on that in the future. "And you better not have just jinxed us," she said, trying to joke but it didn't sound all that funny with the slight note of fear that slipped into her words.
"My sister back in New York and my foster mom." Vanessa admitted. "My sister - I know it's not her because other side of the country but it sounds just like she's standing next to me. My foster mom - if this is a Dream thing, whoever's responsible for it has some pretty messed up dreams." Vanessa said, a tear escaping her as she tried to unlock the driver's door. She reached up to wipe it with her free hand and dropped her keys on the ground, cursing under her breath as she knelt down to get them.
