Vanessa wished she could forget about it but after the monster inside the walls of her house last month, there just was no forgetting about monsters for her. At least this bout of weirdness left her house feeling relatively safe to her. Hopefully that would last. "Take your time," Vanessa told him quietly. She hadn't heard anything about that creature being around here.
She didn't say anything when she saw him wince that way. He already seemed kind of defensive anyway and she didn't want to make whatever he was dealing with worse. One good thing about growing up in foster care - she'd learned to be observant about other people. "I'll be honest - having somebody else in the car will help me. Today...Living here is weird at times. You can't always trust your eyes. Or your ears." She said, glancing around when she saw movement at the corner of her eye again.
"I'm Vanessa by the way. Vanessa Cleveland." She thought for a moment before speaking again. "And the last street name I remember seeing on my way back to my car was name."
