Elizabeth smiled at him tightly as she straightened up from petting the dog. The confidence he seemed to have in her was not something she completely shared. This problem was bigger than her, bigger than them and she wasn't sure anyone quite knew the scope of what they were tackling, or even how to tackle it.
Sighing, she tried to rid her self of the tension thoughts of work wove into her body. "Good, I'm glad. I must say, you certainly look very happy," she told him, patting him on the arm. "How's D'artagnan doing? Are his Dreams still causing him trouble?"
