Things were going well. Or as well as they ever went in Orange County. But Cosima's dreams had given them just what they needed. The missing link to the equation to a cure. There was always hope and this just proved it as they had just anticipated having to work backwards from information from the dreams, not actually receiving the samples from the Original Clone. Jemma had been doing well in her reconstruction but the actual samples would provide much better.
Which was how she found herself at a medical equipment supplier. Most things the Agency ordered on their own and while she ran the science division and was in the labs for that and not the medical division, she still needed to make a purchase. There was access to the equipment there, especially with Martha running point but that didn't mean Jemma wanted to check and see if there was anything that they might need. Or she might be able to use in her own labs.
She had been doing her own research when she heard a familiar voice from London speaking about integrative bio-nanotechnology. Not something most people were aware of, though something she was quite familiar with from her dreams.
"It sounds like something you will need to get from the ground up. If it hasn't been announced yet, you'll be needing a beta. Which is possible though I can't say for certain they will have everything you need."
Because it was Jemma. And she was mostly amused at the entire situation. Poor sales people. They were trying to do their job, but she also knew that even with the possibility of bio-nanotechnology being revealed in a few months time, that didn't mean they would have exactly what was necessary here and now.
