What: Simon plays the big brother protector role and freaks out at Caroline
When: Before the portal/tribble plot ending

Status: In progress
Simon wasn't about to let River get really involved with a woman he had never met in person. Especially not when she was all about portals. When he heard that Caroline wanted to shoot the furry things out into space with help from River he completely freaked. Phone calls wouldn't suffice for this. He needed to go straight to the source.
Simon arrived at Caroline's lab all worked up which wasn't saying much. Simon got worked up a lot about different things, but nothing really got him worked up like danger to River. They had always been close and Simon felt it was his responsibility to protect her even if she didn't want him to. He marched right past any argumentative lab assistants and went straight right up to Caroline.
"What exactly do you think you're doing?" he asked.
