Who: Meg Giry and Wendy Darling What: Chatting over tea and biscuits! When: September 1st, late afternoon Where: The tea shoppe Meg works at. Warnings: None Status: Incomplete!
The tea shoppe somehow always felt different when Meg was there during leisure time. Perhaps it was the fact that she got to sit down and breathe in the fragrance of baked goods and tea leaves. When she was working there she was constantly on her feet, darting from one corner of the establishment to the other. It was exhausting business providing good food and beverage to everyone who passed through the shoppe’s doors, but it was Meg’s bread and butter so she did the very best she could.
Meg was seated at a table by a window that looked out in front of the shoppe. It was a nice table, but she was mostly there to keep an eye out for Wendy. She had invited her friend to share a pot of tea and talk over current events in their lives. It had been a little while since they’d talked in person. Meg thought that they were overdue for a nice little chat.
As in most instances, Meg had arrived with time to spare. She always seemed to be a little early no matter where she went. The surprising part was that she hardly ever did this on purpose. It was simply in Meg’s nature to show up five or ten minutes before anyone else. Her dance teachers adored her for it. She wasn’t one of those girls who rushed into the studio just as the second hand signaled the start of the class.
