She'd heard all of that -the light magic thing and the nothing being predetermined and her own character would define her magic and all that other stuff. And Emma might've rolled her eyes at it, but she recalled things being a little more hectic in the other world when all that was going on too.
But it was oddly comforting to know just what her aura might be like, and Zantanna was fairly on the money about her current state with her magic -she didn't know where it stemmed from, or just how to fully access it. She hoped that it was just a matter of dreaming along those lines, hoped that it was potentially going to open to her better the more she dreamed of using it. Otherwise she'd be fairly average with these expectations just sitting there.
Taking the offered books, still absolutely sure she wanted Regina to teach her that trick, with the moving things stuff, Emma stared at Zatanna, "And you're just gonna let me borrow them?"
