Orange County was a melting pot, many different types convering in one spot - and with that came their own personal bleed-through, which made life interesting. Sometimes that included magic, or other sorts of powers. Extra abilities. Gifts, curses, however you wanted to look at it.
"Lots, actually," Zatanna confirmed, fingers tapping upon a few of the books in the vast collection. They had all once belonged to her dream father, and she wouldn't be able to read them all in her lifetime. But it was always a good starting point, when there was a problem in the OC of the more arcane nature. "Everyone has something different to bring to the table, but I thought the sects would be useful if we needed help from one concentrated area - for instance, I had the spellcasters researching the most recent situation since we had hoped to negate the effects." Then Zatanna continued on, with a flick of her fingers for Emma to join her. "This is the library, obviously, but I'll show you our different practice spaces. In my dreamworld, magic has a somewhat simple origin - one burst of primal energy, the source of magic that permeates the universe. Then those who understood this universal power could access magic, either through ritual or technology or whatever else. What about you?"
